Not the biggest room for traveling with a lot of luggage. There was nobody in the morning to do the check-out at the indicated time so we left a note and just left.

Hotel Framtid was in front of the port of the town, which was very beautiful. Very cozy room. It had a kettle and free coffee and tea. The heating in the room wasn't working and the guy at the reception very gently changed us to another room.

The only missing thing in the room was the fridge an the TV, and may be for the price we paid, breakfast shoul have been included.

We had to stop in this hotel as they closed the main road through the east fiords. The hotel was not cheap, but the room was confortable and clean. There was coffee and tea, and a boiler. No fridge and no TV. The man at the reception was overworked, (as many tourist arrived there at the same time when they realised the road was closed) and he was very helpful.

Did not appreciate being told they were the only option for breakfast and we needed to pay the night before. There is a cafe across the street offering a better breakfast for much cheaper.

Decent hotel in little fjord town. Nothing special and seemed more expensive than other places we stayed for similar quality.

The shower had no water pressure, and the water was barely warm. The restaurant claims to serve local and international cuisine but, in reality, is a very overpriced pizza restaurant. The waiter is a very rude man who did not make us feel welcome at all, infact had we had another option to go and eat at, we would have walked out.

The gentleman who checked us in was lovely and very welcoming. The rooms are quite spacious and very clean. The decor of the hotel is very charming.

Very cozy rooms on the eastern tip of the south coast. Perfect stopover as you make your way around Iceland. The restaurant offers delicious food. Very nice staff.

(The price on our bill) our restaurant bill was a bit steep but , as everyone says in Britain 🇬🇧 Icelands expensive! but the Burger was most probably the best I've ever had!

Our server at the only restaurant in the village, who also checked us in at reception a few hours before was so friendly and accommodating. He told us where to go, such as the local swimming pool and where to posilbilly see the best aurora. And we found it 😀 Food was beautifully delicious!

Everthing!!! Beautifull place and the hotel is just charming and lovely. The guy on the reception was just great and we feel so welcome after long ride. He made our stay even better. The room was clean and location so nice.

Arriving just out of main season all other restaurants were closed, so we ate in the hotel restaurant. Our first choice mains were not available ( we werent told when given the menus only as we went to order , and we requested a starter, then pizzas for main, but everything turned up together and the pizza was rather lacking in taste.

Very small room, booked a twin/double but due to the size of the room it could not be a double because the door wouldn't open!

It was nice having a lounge area to chill in away from the very small room and the weather It was an ok price and a handy stopping place on a ring road round trip.

Great location- right in town! Very friendly and helpful staff. Enjoyed sunset views from the comfortable swinging chairs on the porch. Restaurant was tasty! While sitting in the lobby overheard staff continuously accommodating the needs of guests. (“lobby” photo is the hotel hallway!)
