The hot tubs were the highlight for us due to the cold temperatures. The host allowed us to stay late upon request without any hesitation. The pods were quite cosy and nice to sleep in.

I have no complaints

The person running (guy from Romania) things was amazing. He allowed us to move our reservation to a day earlier due to a storm in northern Iceland. He was very friendly, gave great recommendations and seemed to run the entire place. Everything was clean, the hot tubs were nice, the troll stuff was fun. We had a great time after an exhausting escape from crazy snow conditions in the north.

1. Showers - I assume possibly too few for the number of people that could be hosted there. Although personally I did not experience that, but I saw people queueing in front of them. Please not that these are also community showers. 2. WiFi - we had a pod in a bit further line from the restaurant, and basically wifi was not working there.

The pods are great - warm and cosy, sometimes even too warm :) parking space next to the pod is a nice touch, as well as the trees planted thoughtfully bwetween the pod lines. Location is great as a stop for the nearby things to see and some hikes, or when on the route. But the highlight to us were the tubs with the hot springs water! It provided absolutely amazing rest to our muscles after long hikes that we did every day!

I can't think of anything

The facilities are excellent. Love the restaurant, you can ask for any of the 1000s vinyls to be played. Enjoyed a bit of Madness with my dinner. Food was excellent - the fish stew was amazing. Washroom facilities were always clean. The pod itself was clean, comfortable mattress, excellent heating in it and a small fridge to keeps some cans cold. Staff were super friendly.

Charming place with small camping pods and cottages in different sizes, located next to a beautiful waterfall. Clean and tidy, and with nice facilities such as a shared kitchen, hot tubs and restrooms. They also had a troll garden and playground for kids. Staff were very friendly and the breakfast (not included) was nice. Great value for money!

This was a true gem. The pods are clean and warm and the bed was super comfortable. The hot tubs were amazing and the owner was extremely friendly and kind. The showers and kitchen were spotless and the views from the breakfast room were lovely. I really enjoyed this place. Thanks so much!

Not enough sinks. Showers are too close to one another - could do with some kind of deviders.

We loved everything about our stay at Fossatun Camping Pods. All the facilities were good. We loved the hot tub. And the hill where you could go and admire the Northern Lights is close. The atmosphere is very nice. There are enough utensils, pots, pans and plates for everyone. The kettles could be a bit bigger. Breakfast was good. The price for it was a bit dear, but compared to the prices in Iceland, it was good. Also, you have to pay for bedding. This stay was unforgettable. We might even consider coming back.

Not something we didn’t like but just a point of attention: the drain in ‘The Holy Shower’ doesn’t drain quick enough, but it wasn’t bothering.

The hospitality of the staff was amazing, always ready to help and very polite. Alsways in to make a little chat. The accommodations and facilities we’re beyond our expectations, we we’re pleasantly surprised

We loved our stay. The pod was cozy. The kitchen had an electric hob, kettle, fridge toaster and an air fryer. The hot tub was great to relax after a long day on the road. One night we could see a tiny bit of northern lights behind the mountain. The troll waterfalls were a lot nice than I expected. I would recommend this accommodation to friends.
