We loved our stay at Nordic Natura. The cabin was very cozy and well equipped, there was nothing we missed. The views of the canyon next to it were also stunning. The owner welcomed us with a little gift and made sure that everything is fine doing our stay. On our first night we even got an amazing display of the northern lights. Overall it is the perfect stay if you want to explorer the north of Iceland, I.e. Husavik, Asbyrgi, Dettifoss…

There was nothing we didn’t like about the property. We have no complaints. Although we never met you, you were very good hosts with a very impressive property :)

The property was amazing, very modern, clean and spacious for such a seemingly small place. The location and landscape was beautiful, with some great places like Húsavík not too far away, and Dettifoss only a short drive. It was easy to find too, and easy to get the keys to enter. Although it was very far from the capital but we took this as a part of our adventure when driving to and around the property. We have recommended this place to friends and family. And we would definitely stay again! :)

Beautiful modern little cottage with everything you might need, located in the countryside. Great beds, linen, towels, coffee, extremely clean, nice attention to details. A little small for 3 people but still one of the very top accommodations during our 2,5 week trip in Iceland. We had one of the few rainy days while staying here but the terrace must be great for grilling, chilling, observing the northern lights when the weather allows.

The cabins are incredible! Very cozy, warm, and well equipped. They are decorated warm and modern. It’s only a few minutes to the canyon. There is a small grocery store and N1 station near by too. We bought all our food with us and planned on cooking so we were prepared. I really don’t think there are any restaurants to eat at. We saw the northern lights both nights we stayed here too. We went into Húsavík one of the days we were here and it made a great day trip. Definitely stay here!

We traveled with 2 teenagers. Very good contact with the host before arrival - we received very accurate information about check-in and address. The apartment is well equipped, we lacked nothing. Apartment a bit small for 4 people for a longer stay. For 2 perfect. Worth recommending.

The hut is super cozy and well equipped with everything that is needed. For 2 it has a perfect size and we really enjoyed staying there. It is quite new and the style is quite modern and appealing. It is a bit far off from everything, but for us this was perfect to relax and just enjoy the landscape around us.

Nothing. Its a remote location in the north, but relatively close to Dettifoss falls. You need to love this kind of locations.

We loved the view, the cleanness, the cozy comfort, the facilities, the exceptional attention to details. The car access (directly to the porch). The farm. The exceptional collection of books, maps and local tips. We reserved two of the three cute 25m cottages for two days, and I wish we could stay there a week. The three new modern cottages are located in the farm with horses roaming by, about 200m from the old farm house, in a scenic, serene quite and beautiful setting and views. Each of the cottages has its own direct view of the arctic sea, a porch with chairs and table and attached parking place that was very useful during in and out in the rainy days. The cottages have huge comfy beds (one had king size, the other two twins), and a surprising large sofa (that can probably turned also into large bed). The kitchen was fully equipped with utensils for five, dish washer and every tool needed for cooking which we did use extensively. The shower is excellent, very new and clean, with great flow of hot water. There are many tips in the guest book, and many books and maps for local travel. Can be a great location for base for traveling the north east peninsula. There is a fuel station nearby (2km) with great restaurant/store open until late and a almost everything you might need for shopping (including vegetables\fruits, camping gear, food etc). There is great road access to both the east and west banks of river canyon that contain the beautiful Dettifoss, Selfoss and Hfragilsfoss falls.

The Unit is cramped because the sofa bed with the two extra fold up dinning chairs stored behind it encroaches on the oversized dining table. We struggled to seat two people at this table comfortably. The cutlery drawer is on the left hand side of the table, we’ll away from the kitchen and is difficult to get at because the chair backs are virtually hard up against the end of the sofa bed. We constantly had to juggle a suitcase and a food box for meal and bed times. This unit is our most costly during or 19 nights in Iceland. The Owner has spoilt a premium two person unit.

Set back, up high, from Highway 85 in between the Asbyrgi Canyon road entrance and Highway 862. Good vista of the surrounding area. Just three Units well spaced apart. Spacious balcony with outdoor seating. The bed was very comfortable. The three ring Cook Top was good.

There’s hardly anything not to like. Only things which might be good to be aware of is the lack of a freezer in the fridge. There’s no oven (but a good stove). The door is a little tricky to pull properly shut and lock.

Cosy little cottage on the edge of a beautiful canyon. Furnishings and design were all modern and the place has been decorated with a lot of care and thought. The bed is firm and comfy, there are extra blankets, a good sized table and a modern bathroom. The host left a lot of helpful information about the cottage, as well as hiking maps to local nature outings.

A really nice cabin with the most amazing views and location. The cabin is both cozy and luxurious. Ágústa the owner has thought about all details - and we found all things we needed there - in the kitchen and bathroom - and there is even a nice Bluetooth player. The beds are very comfortable and it’s really clean. Did I mention AMAZING VIEWS!! We enjoyed it a lot. We will come back!

The door to the bath is very close to the bed so likely to disturb the person sleeping on that side.

Very comfortable studio with lots of windows in a quiet location near many interesting sites. Loved the Bluetooth music player. The beds were very comfortable and the shower was roomy. The kitchen was equiped and a sofa good for lounging.
