An amazing, well equipped house on the golden circle route. Being able to walk to the tomato farm was a bonus. Communication with the owner was excellent. The photos don't do this lovely house justice, and we would certainly return for another visit.

The only small thing could be improved is the creaking sound from the wooden floor.

The house is perfect! Very spacious, has everything we need :) we stayed for four nights and loved it! We also loved the sauna! Location is perfect in the golden circle, and close to the secret lagoon, geyser, the National park, and supermarket :)

As we were two families meeting up, the bed configuration was slightly challenging. Needed a second double bed ideally. The stairs to the mezzanine are steep.

Well equipped, plenty of space and very comfortable. The hot tub and sauna were a bonus. The location worked very well for us. The host gave good tips and responded to questions quickly and clearly. We would happily stay here again.

What a beautiful house! Solveig, the host, was friendly and helpful. Everything was neat and clean. We were two very happy families, 4 adults and 2 children, and there was more than enough space for everyone. The house is well equipped and the jacuzzi and sauna were fantastic. Nice spot on the golden circle in the little village of Reykholt with its swimming pool, shop, restaurants, playgrounds, football pitches, greenhouses and more. Thank you!

Clean, roomy house in good location for golden circle sights. Local restaurant superb with really friendly helpful service. We saw the aurora at the front of the house. Communication with owner first rate.Things couldn’t of been better.

A beautiful house in a great location, really handy for all the big hitters of the Golden Circle. As other reviewers have said, the house is much bigger and nicer than the photos would suggest.

Our stay was so positive and refreshing after our prior adventures in Akureyri and the Highlands that I can't think of anything I didn't like about this place. It was a real oasis for us, a place to relax and recharge.

We felt completely overwhelmed with how nice and how well-equipped this house is. The owner understates what a nice place it is in the property description. The house is spacious, clean, and comfortably decorated, and has high-end appliances and finishes, high quality without necessarily feeling like luxury or too much. The location is great too. It is right near all of the bucket-list attractions but far enough removed that one is not caught up in the bustle at all. Reykholt is central but not necessarily the main drag, it isn't all gummed up with people and tourist traps like Selfoss, Geysir, Fluthir, or Hveragerthi. The local greenhouse restaurant, Frithheimer, is amazing and it is a walk from this property. The owner is completely responsive and friendly. We wish that it had been available for more nights during our trip. Book as many nights here as you can! But don't let the secret out! :-D We used it as a jumping point for climbing Hekla and touring Seljalandsfoss. Also did a horse ride near Hella.

This house is absolutely nice and cosy - we felt almost like home: the kitchen / dining / living room is very nice and warm. The two bath rooms are clean, the sauna is perfect and the outside whirlpool prefers a location for relaxing moments. The kitchen is well equipped, so is the laundry area. Fresh flowers topped it.

Truly hearing a family home. Everything you could need and more. Loved seeing so many books even though we could not understand them! Very comfy beds. Hot tub and sauna worked very well. Leaking sink was fixed at very short notice. Would definitely recommend and return

Everything. Fully equipped with all you need for a pleasant stay. Loved the living room / kitchen area, the veranda with the jacuzzi, sauna, laundry room and so on. Even toys for the children.
