Rooms were cozy and very comfortable. Shared kitchen had many amenities that made it very convenient to cook our breakfast. Loved being greeted by the 3 friendly dogs on the property. Host Susanna provided us with a warm welcome.

Beds were a bit small for me (1.85 height)

Cozy cabin perfect for anyone looking for a different experience in Iceland. The kitchen was fully equiped and very clean, which is a plus if you are on a road-trip and want to cook.

Really nothing negative to say, everything was exactly as described.

A great location (we stayed here after finishing Golden Circle on our way further south). The host was very lovely and friendly, came out to meet us and show around the property. The little huts were really cute and comfortable, convenient that we had a toilet in the hut. The shower room was in a separate hut, but it was very warm and homely. The kitchen was very well equipped and easy to use. Extra bonus points for the dogs, loved interacting with them (greetings to Nero and Pluto!).

We were late for the check in due to travel time during the night and the hosts help us with everything to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Really wonderfull place, quiet and isolated, to relax and enjoyable with the hot tub as well. What a shame we couldn´t spend more time there.

Some people may want somewhere closer to the town or road but it was perfect for what we wanted, out of the way and quiet.

Stunning, very comfortable with everything you need to hand. Main kitchen just outside in another cabin but all essentials like kettle, cups etc were in your own mini kitchen. Lovely and warm with beautiful views.

We loved it here! The cabins are beautiful and really well kept. The owners were very friendly, helpful and there to meet us with their cute dogs as soon as we arrived. The shower and kitchen are in separate buildings but this didn’t bother us at all. You get a fridge, kettle and basic crockery in your cabin so we didn’t need to use the kitchen. The shower cabin is warm with lots of clean places to put everything. They have robes, shower shoes and soaps all there for you to use. The hot tub was kept so warm and was so nice to relax in in the evening. I’d recommend this place for anyone looking to stay out of a town and have a good chance of seeing the northern lights. We really want to go back as soon as we can.

The barrel houses were so cute and cozy, we loved them. The hot tub under the stars was incredible. So warm and toasty! And the dogs and horses were super cute.

Difficult to get to during the winter depending on snowfall. As the hosts explained to us the road to the property doesn’t get cleared daily therefore can often be inaccessible unless you have a very large 4wd with big tyres. They were very helpful however with telling us to park at a nearby school and picked us up and dropped us at our car daily. Something to note if you are on a tight time schedule :)

The property and accommodation is gorgeous! Had everything we could have needed, very comfortable, cosy and beautiful. The dogs and nearby horses were so lovely!

Needed an extra towel

One of our favorite places to stay on this trip and certainly the most unique! The barrel guest rooms are surprisingly spacious and super cute. We got to enjoy the hot tub in the middle of winter!
