The beach chairs were worn out and there are not enough places to store things in the room and bathroom. For a short stay, this might not be an issue. .

The balcony setups were cute, the air conditioning worked well and the room was cleaned daily. The staff were friendly. The location was great.

The challenge with this place was the neighbors, the lack of a desk and very slow wifi. It was very noisy - as some of my neighbors were wanting to party more than sleep. I only stayed one night so I didn't complain.. but from what I understand from others, this is a common because the place is well located to all the main bars and is affordable.

This is a well located property and I liked the layout in general. My room was huge and the beds were ok.. not great. It needs some updated pillows etc.

The beds were a little uncomfortable and our shower head was calcified so we had little water pressure during showers.

Not sure about breakfast. We only ate at the restaurant once since it was expensive. We LOVED the grounds the most. Absolutely beautiful! The housekeepers were so nice. Sitting out on the porch and beach access was our favorite parts!

There were lots of mosquitos inside the room and bug beds. When I asked for a bug spray they simply said they didn't have.

The only thing was that it was mango season and the huge mango tree was dropping mangos at a rate of 1-2 an hour which resulted in a loud startling bang on the roof and slimy decaying mangos on the path that were not cleaned up while I was there. Music noise from the local bar generally ended 9-10 pm

Lovely hotel, decent value, would stay again. Centrally located, across from the dive shop I used. The room itself was excellent, very spacious, nice bathroom, decent water pressure.

There’s is not much else to the place than the rooms, but it doesn’t really matter, because you don’t need anything else but a place to sleep. A little expensive.

Perfect location for a west end stay. Just by the beach with dive center next to and a restaurent with hotel discount. Big rooms with a nice atmosphere. The staff was helpful with arranging tours and transport.

A street away from the beach. The room is spacious and clean, and a large balcony outside of the room with chairs and a table to rest and observe tropical plants. A few steps away from a convenient store for water and snacks.

Although the sheets and towels were fresh and clean, the room itself was lacking; there was sand covering the floor when we first walked in making it seem as if the floor hadn’t been cleaned at all. Also not a super big deal but the toilet bowl was pretty stained and looked as if it had not been cleaned for a while, kind of giving it a more rundown appearance.

Location was excellent- walkable to everything in West End. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The attached restaurant, Argentinian Grill had delicious food and drinks. What I also really liked is that they have kayaks available to rent for free for guests.

We didn't mind it but some with mobility issues may find the walk way to the rooms a bit difficult as the path is uneven. Also there are no elevators to the second floor. As I said, we had no problems but if mobility is an issue you may want a downstairs room.

The hotel is what we were looking for: a small local feel right by the action but not so close it was too noisy. We were a family so we had two double rooms, one upstairs and one down. Each had an inviting porch which we used to lounge and they were set in a lush 'jungle' setting. A bonus were the animals on the property: of course many birds, agouti (large rodent, but not rat like) and some very friendly cats. The location is excellent, once you are there you don't need transportation as everything is within walking distance. There's a market next door and several bars/restaurants close by and their restaurant is very nice as well. When we first booked it we were concerned you had to walk across a road to the beach but it is not an issue as there was little traffic and the local cars add to the flavor of Roatan. You can swim and snorkel right off the beach and many dive shops offer daily dives/snorkel trips. The staff spoke English very well and were friendly and helpful. We had them arrange transportation from the airport and the driver was always right on time as we used him to take us to the ferry and back to the airport. We'd recommend you stay here.

when I was searching for 2 rooms for 2 nights, I saw a 2 bedroom apartment, which I booked here. upon arrival, the room that I had was a 1 bedroom, with the other bed was in the lounge area, meaning you didn’t get the privacy of the rooms as advertised. I did have a chat. and they managed to change us for 1 night only! not ideal- misleading advert.

The internet situation was bad. i stayed 4 days & switched rooms 3 times. the first room didn't have internet access inside. I had to pay for teleworking space down the road. You have to ling into the wifi multiple times per day. the last room smelled horrifically of mold.

This is a cute, charming little bungalow across from the beach. also has sister properties & restaurants with access & discounts. it's cute.

Not really a complaint, but if traveling to the island, be aware that you are better off with cash (in our case US currency) since many places add a surcharge if using a credit card. I read on the Internet that the island only accepted crisp and new bills less than $20.00. We took plenty of all denominations and they were accepted everywhere. I think the crisp, new bills pertained mostly to the mainland.

Away from the main part of town, but close enough to restaurants. Very helpful staff. This hotel is a hidden gem. It was very reasonable. We loved our second floor room. We ate in the restaurant on two occasions and it was good. We will be back to Roatan and will book into the same place.
