My room didn’t have hot water

No hot tub was the only thing we could think of that was missing. The people were great, the resort was great, the location was great.

The dive shop was amazing. Pool was chilly, however, huge and beautiful. Room was great. Right on the beach. Private dock. Incredible sunsets.

We waited far too long for the airport shuttle and check in was a mess as it was a busy time when all the flights arrived for a holiday weekend. The cleaning service was poor and we had to call for towels each day. No one will tell you the prices for taxis, so we felt doubly taken advantage of as tourists and gringos (and did negotiate slightly better rates). The driver the desk arranged for us one day took us to an animal sanctuary other than the one we wanted (presumably for a kick back) and also tried to increase our rate partly through the trip. Not cool. We couldn't get a shuttle to the airport for our flight out unless we wanted to leave at 12:30 for a 5:00 flight, so we paid $30 for 4 of us to take a taxi.

You are perfectly situated on the beach for great snorkeling; in fact, the tours come to the reef right in front of the hotel. The breakfast buffet was good and the food and service at the Papala restaurant was excellent. The drink prices seem steep, but the drinks are strong! The units are nice and well appointed and the pool is large with a swim up bar. The beach area is clean and kept raked so we had no issues with sand flies. We were given a very late check out time, which was a nice trade off as we had to pay for a taxi to the airport because the shuttle service ended at 12:30 and our flight was at 5.

Beach, pool, location all amazing. Food is ok. Rooms are spacious, but dated. This is an excellent value for West Bay beach. Fun location, but also family friendly.

No negative reviews about the property . The only thing I would to invest more time training staff on how to provide good quality of customer service specially front desk and housekeeping departments . Some of the girls were rude and refuse to clean the room even when I asked them nicely .

It was great place and we were looking forward to visit Roatan for a 3rd time. The staff went out of their way to make sure that my girlfriend birthday was special. I couldn’t ask for a better place and people to stay and celebrate with. Thank you.

The beach area was small- which is ok- but being hassled the ENTIRE time by locals selling items was not relaxing for our family. We actually bought things from almost every one of them, and they still didn’t leave us alone. That would be the ONLY reason I’d hesitate to return. Side note- the sofa bed was pretty bad. We have very easy to please young boys, and they couldn’t even sleep on it.

Everything! Location, cleanliness, staff. Beds were large and very comfortable. Pool is amazing, breakfast was very good. Snorkeling in front of the resort can’t be beat! Beautiful place! Easy walking distance to many great restaurants. Water taxi was fun and convenient. The banana bread guy- oh my goodness- THE best banana bread we’ve ever had!!

We stayed in room 1203. The bed was hard. There was no TV in the livingroom only in the bedroom. There was a shortage of cooking utensils. The hotel does not have a 9:30 shuttle to the airport. Only 7am and 10:30am. We had to pay for car service.

Loved location, bar, and pool. Other than above mentioned, room was very nice.

We had issues getting room service to come and the grounds were only picked up once a day, so trash built up. We did not care for the food at the restaurant, so ended up eating most meals off-resort. Towels were very thin and dingy. Bed was quite hard.

The location, beach, and snorkeling were fantastic. The water off this resort is protected from most boat traffic. You could easily swim out to some very healthy reefs. Any further up the beach, you had to worry about small boats coming ashore. The front desk staff was very helpful, especially Danery. COVID test to return to US was convenient - in hotel lobby. Kitchen was large and very usable.

I requested two rooms close by since I was traveling with my family from Colombia. They took forever to clean the rooms, Usually after 7:00 pm. And wifi service was poor.

Beach is amazing. Breakfast was delicious and the location just perfect.

I liked everything about my stay. I can't name what I didnt like, maybe the TV could have more options. in addition, the bar could have more options for ice-cream and deserts, but it was a wonderful experience.

I liked in particular the personal treatment of the staff, which was differentiated.

The checkin process took forever because it was disorganized. The atm broke. Wouldnt deliver breakfast to my room for room service for one day. At La palpa bar the service wasn’t always the best. I had to ask someone to serve me everytime I went there. Ended up eating off the resort most times. Also someone stole my sandals on their beach.

I loved the greenery and the rooms were comfortable. The guys at the activity center were amazing and very helpful! The room service from la palpa was very good. The beach is stunning. The ladies at the gift shop were very nice! Happy I could get a Covid test on site.

The pool wasn’t every clean even though they cleaned it everyday it was murky . Some of the people the guest were swimming in clothes which is nasty . The flower couch was kind of smelly and hard to take sand off of it
