The hotel is located little bit far from the center. But it is very calm and a beautiful place. All the people where very friendly. The bar at the beach side is pretty cool.

Pictures show 2 pools, however, they were under maintenance for the duration of our stay. We booked it specifically for the pools since the kids don't like the ocean as much, so that was disappointing.

Very nice hotel, right on the water. A bit out of the city, but walkable. Very quiet for a good night's sleep.

Staff at the hotel seemed rather uninterested in their guests, would be nice to feel a little more welcomed/ attended to Tuktuk was not waiting at dock as promised Skipped breakfast b/c of strong smell of old fat from kitchen ; asked for a coffee and received a mug filled to the edge of what seemed cheap warmed up coffee. With a good manager and staff training these are minor things that can easily be improved - facilities and location are perfect for those who want to be outside of town

Our purpose was to explore the other side of the Island - so the included kayaks and snorkel Equipment and Location was Great! Absolutely fantástic is Tera , the Manager of the Dive Shop!

Coral View has some issues that come with an older hotel. But the staff work quickly to resolve any problems that arise.

The food was excellent! The staff were attentive and friendly.

    1) We found a few large cockroaches in our room when we returned from the day. Not too big of a deal since we are on a tropical island but our room was on the third floor so a bit unexpected 2) The staff was overall rude/unavailable at the reception and breakfast areas. example: On the day we arrived, we had communicated with a member of the staff the night before that we would be arriving at 9.30 am and they confirmed that we would be able to leave our bags at reception. Unfortunately there was no one at the reception office until 11 am to allow us to leave our bags or check into the room. 3) breakfast is on order only so if you have an early morning dive and want to grab a quick something to eat beforehand, they were unable to accommodate me with any small item to go 4) The hotel is in a great location if you’re looking for a more secluded spot but not great if you would like to go into town for restaurants or bars. It is about a 15 minute drive to get into town and you have to call the tuktuk taxis to come pick you up (approx 50 lempira per person) or rent a golf cart 5) Although the hotel has a scuba diving center; it seems to cater more to larger groups coming to the hotel rather than 1-2 solo divers looking to join a dive - you’re better off booking dives with the dive centers in town if you’re looking for that. 6) The rooms are crazy expensive compared with other nicer hotels in town

Loved that there is a beautiful coral reef you can snorkel at right in front of the resort! The hotel also has a great pool and beach bar that is always serving great drinks and food. the rooms were comfortable and both the AC and the hot water were working. The breakfast at the hotel was ok.

It might be a bit overpriced with other places compared to what they offer. Reception check-in/check-out could also be improved.

Despite it is a bit far from the town center, the location is amazing, one of the best in Utila with the Coral Reef accessible from the hotel. The town is also at a walking distance by the sea. The team is very nice, specially Cecilia and Henry took good care of me and were extremely helpful.

Rarely got a food order correct. plan to tip housekeepers if you want service. plan to tip everyone in Utila for everything. No wash cloths, hand towels. No coffee till 7am vs sunrise. Beds just adequate. No dressers, no safes.

kayaking , snorkeling , diving gear. breakfast included. Ferry to South side right behind hotel. A/C, salt water pool. Can charter boat to cays with resort.

No tea available for breakfast. No other dislikes.

Location: Great, quiet area, not that far away from the city centre. Charming staff and delicious food with vegan options on the menu. In the price of the hotel you can rent scuba diving equipment, kayaking, etc. Pier. The resort has also a good size pier with two swimming pools, top roof deck and the bar. Personally I would give the pier a fresh paint, some net curtains and lights around the lounge beds and easily call the place 5 stars resort :)

generally the facility is overpriced for the quality. It is not a luxury hotel. The restaurant is very expensive. A basic breakfast was included. I was offered pineapple juice which I accepted. When I went to check out I was charged for the two glasses of juice as it was not included in the breakfast. For the cost of the room it seemed rather cheap of them to charge me.

nice place but unless you are part of diving course it is a 20min walk into town. quiet location.

The dinner menu in the restaurant is quite expensive - it needs to be better tiered. Not to worry though as there are numerous other great restaurants you can walk to and enjoy.

The Coral View Hotel is located at one end of the main road in Utila. If you are looking for a quieter place out of town (where the parties happen) then this is a good place for you. The facilities are good ie you can snorkel off their dock directly onto a reef and they have the reef bar to enjoy a few drinks and two great swimming pools. We went scuba diving and the team led by Timmy provided a great experience over 3 boat dives.

If your mood is party this is not your hotel , you have to take a tuk tuk to city center or walk 15-20 minutes. Pool was unavailable for holidays, this prevented me to give a 10.

The hotel facilities are good. They arranged a tuk tuk for me and my family on arrival. Although pricey, restaurant's food is good. Staff was friendly. Room was cleaned daily. Breakfast is simple but ok-ish. It has a bar across the street on a deck over the sea.
