We always stay at Camino Real Antigua because is one of the best in Antigua. Now the restaurant is better, huevos a la mexicana are a must!

The property was very picturesque and the rooms were spacious. The beds were very comfortable and I slept very well. This is definitely an above average hotel.

Even if it is a few blocks from the park, for Antigua, it is not considered to be in the the center of town. You can walk around to the main area of town. The bed has amazing comforters but too heavy for our taste and the pillows either too soft giving zero support or too big giving us neck pain. The food is good but you could do better outside the premises both in quality and price

We had a great time. The hotel is BEAUTIFUL, colonial style, the staff is excellent. Double premium bedroom. The bathroom was very clean and well lit in the day. The bedroom had high ceiling, TV, AC, free wifi, hair dryer, safe, desk, small table and chairs. Very cozy and everything of the best quality. Parking on premises, underground and included in the bedroom rate. We didn't need to use it. We walked from the hotel to everywhere we wanted to go. There is a big jacuzzi that passes as a small swimming pool. We didn't go but it looked warm and clean. There is also a coffee station available for guests in the bedroom area. Would I stay again here? Only if I want a luxurious stay. There is a huge offer for accommodations in Antigua for all tastes and budget. COVID measures felt enough and they have thermometers on all entries and alcohol dispensers as well.

The staff and pupusa.

The hotel was probably good 10 or 20 years ago. No AC in the room, no refrigerator. Not much things to do except the pool places to sit outside the room. Check in is 3 pm no matter what. The bed is hard and the shower has no pressure. But the staff are super sweet and helpful.

we paid for breakfasts in booking, for the whole family, and they made us pay 2 more breakfasts. We were able to see the details when we got the invoice, which was 3 hours after the check out. Besides that, they called us 3 hours after the check out, asking if we were still there, because they didn’t record our check our properly

Too much people, weddings weekend, very loud. The pillows were not as good as usual.

I love photographing birds, the camino has great flowers and shrubs surrounding it, BUT! not a single bird, seriously no, zero birds or lizards or anything alive except the plants. They have it all sprayed with something, they sprayed while we were there. Next, you would think by what they charge per night you could get a couple free bottles of water per day, not the case! It's marked $2.00 a bottle. We only used the two our first night there, and at check out they add tax to the 2 dollars! Plus coffee in the room is 2.40 a packet. They do have free coffee after 7am in the morning if you want to walk a bit. No free breakfast!!! If you want to pay 18.00 plus for breakfast daily you can eat at the hotel. Oh well, we had a good time in Antigua, I will not stay at Camino Real again.

The camino real is great in many ways and not so great in a few others. What I liked was good internet, huge towels and plenty of them, hot water in shower, friendly staff.

The cleanliness was not completely satisfactory, not just in the property itself, but specifically in the the bathroom, towels and the quality and presentation of the soap. Additionally, the lightning in the bathroom is poor for the purpose of the feminine facial an final hair touch as well as for the make up. I kindly suggest to update the light system, changing it for LED lights, that are finally cheaper along the time.

The environment y quietness that are what we expected and was longing for.
