There was nothing to dislike about our stay, we stayed for three nights for a wedding at Tunnels Beaches.

What a wonderful short break we had at Norbury House. Superb hosts, Paula and Adam would go above and beyond to welcome everyone. Room was fully equipped with everything you expect a quality hotel to have. Spotlessly clean throughout. Breakfast was cooked to perfection, very tasty and freshly cooked. Well done Paula!!!! Adam also played a major part supplying us with endless drinks and toast. We arrived as guests, and left as friends. We even had the pleasure of meeting Brisket, and wonderful happy black labrador, who reminded us of our lab we left at home. Will return soon.

Everything was fantastic, no complaints!

My fiancé and I booked a last minute stay to Norbury House in Ilfracombe. On arrival we were greeted with a friendly welcome and had our room unexpectedly upgraded. The room was very clean and tidy, the bed was comfier than our own, and breakfast was beautiful which set us up for the whole day ahead. We cannot wait to return in the future, thank you! :)

The bathroom maybe needs a little updating, things like seals on showers and better quality towels. Breakfast we was not aware we could of had fruit only on seeing someone else had it, maybe our fault for not asking.

Great characterful property, lovely quiet location, cute sea views, Adam and Paula were amazing hosts from before we got there to when we left, meeting Brisket the dog was a bonus when we left. Well cooked breakfast and nice touch with the border biscuits that were replenished in our room each day.

Lovely property and within walking distance to ilfracombe. Room 8 was lovely and had all the amenities we needed, Adam was very friendly and welcoming and breakfast every morning was full of of choices and tasted amazing, thank you for a great stay, if we are in ilfracombe again we will be booking with you.

I feel bad having a tiny niggle. Lovely big bed and the quilt cover was a good size. However, the quilt inside was the same width as the bed so didn't overhang but as the bed was so big, this just meant we slept closer together. Personal taste, the pillows were a bit hard for us but probably fine for others.

The breakfast was 5*, best we've had in this type of accommodation. Decent sized bath towels were also a massive tick. Hosts were lovely. Really pleasant stay. Room was tastefully decorated... a dressing table with surface for putting brushes and make up on would have been nice but I appreciate there probably wasn't room for that.
