Very friendly staff that was willing to help. The room was as expected and the hotel is at the city centre close to everything. If you need convenience then Hotel Hafnia is your first choice!

A bit difficult to find parking for a car since this is right in the centre of Thorshavn. The rooms are a bit small.

Best location in Thorshavn, we could walk to everything. Excellent breakfast. Very helpful staff. It was also great that the hotel connects to a cafe just next door.

The paint was peeling from the walls especially near the window and into the bathroom. Also, I could see some left-over from the previous guest under the bed. During the weekend, the neighborhood is very noisy and you can hear the teenagers parting on the streets. Also, the initial room that was allocated to me on the 2nd floor had problems with flushing away the water, the tap water was yellowish and a bad smelling was predominating the room. Luckily, the receptionist gave me another room, still maybe maintenance needs to be done for some of the rooms.

Hotel Hafnia is very close by the old city town, and visible from everywhere so it is easy to reach out from the bus station. The breakfast was fantastic, and the music from the breakfast area was lovely. The cleaning lady always made sure that I had my favorite tea in the room. At the check-in, from the reception you get discount vouchers to the restaurants which were of a great value. Also, the sauna was always prepared in due time, and the staff members were very nice.

The price was a bit high but then so was most things on the islands.

Excellent location. Only a couple of minutes from the bus and ferry terminals. Also central to everything in the town centre. The room wallpaper was amusing. Great cafe bar on ground floor.

Friendliness of staff. Delicious apples at the reception desk I got to enjoy every day. Complimentary wine between 5-6PM. Good breakfast. Close to the marina, bus terminalcity center, cafés and restaurants. Would stay again for its great location.

The fact that you had to go outdoors over a ledge down a set of stairs and then into another hallway to get to the room. Made it difficult with heavy and large luggage. Also our room was upgraded and our view was street level. We were only there for one night and left early for a flight so it didn’t really matter.

The toilet paper holder was annoying. That's my only complaint!

The room was small but lovely - really great design elements. The breakfast was a typical over the top delicious Nordic breakfast and I only wish my stomach was bigger.

one small thing which could be solved easily. There was a smell of drains coming from the shower. The toilet flush was so powerfull that it creates a vacuum and sucks the water from the ubned in the shower trap.When the shower is turned on and it fills up the smell disappears.

Summer in Faeröer: except to pay full price even for a small room, especially in a popular hotel like Hafnia. But the location is great, reception very helpful and friendly and breakfast superb.
