Bure 8 was terrible and not at all what we expected, the food and cocktails were very expensive (possibly influenced by being neighbours with the Intercontinental?), no operational swim up bar, bathrooms are very tired and not like the photos.

The beach, the snorkelling right off the beach, the amazing sunsets, the Tandoori Chicken, Nasi Goreng and Asian Kitchen menu, the pool (but don't expect the swim up bar to be operational!). They moved us from Unit 8 when we complained, fire show/cultural show

The location is amazing. Best restaurant we visited in Fiji. The Tandoori Fish was world class.

Loved being so close to the beach. Nice quiet resort. The tandoori chicken on the dinner menu was the best we’ve ever had. The staff were all so lovely and easy to talk to. We were sad to leave. Nice break from all the big ritzy hotels.

Ants in the room on the fresh flowers and along the walls. Said there would be a mini bar and flatscreen TV and there wasn’t but not a big deal.

Amazing location, great bar and selection of cocktails (we especially liked the Bikini Martini’s). Free use of snorkelling gear and kayaks too.

We love the activities and the food in the restaurant (it is expensive for the quantity but the hotel it is really farway from everything so you dont have another choice). the room was beautiful but i had some maintenance during our stay so we couldnt sleep a lot. The bed and the bath are really comfortable. The paddle board was broken but we enjoy the pool.

facilities are very old. poor sound insulation and floor squeaks. one night a cockroach flew out from the AC. There is public turfed area between the balcony and the beach so people and safety guards walk past your view often.

Limited menu at the restaurant but they did cater for gluten free when asked. Every 2nd night they had an Asian kitchen open and that food was better in our opinion. Breakfast was a bit limited.

Gardens were beautiful and beachfront was beautiful.

The sea was wonderful but quite choppy in places with a strong pull and this was for the 6 days we were here. Fine for us but littlies may struggle. We were constantly bothered by the locals selling their wares on the beach and this was relentless and we ended up having to be a bit rude for them to leave us alone. They do horse rides but the horses are out in the sun all day, some looked very skinny and there didn't seem to be any consideration of maximum rider weight. Some of the staff were bordering on rude with abrupt, sullen attitude, mainly at mealtimes but some staff were amazing. We didn't enjoy the dinner menu but breakfast was good. The Intercontinental next door does better food but its more expensive. When I had reflexology (it was a foot massage) the masseuse kept drifting off to sleep, but she may have had a very busy day! The cleaner was lovely but kept popping up too early for us (8.30-9.30 am). The room was small but adequate, I really wanted some fresh milk but they only had creamer. The resort is fairly isolated so if you want to buy groceries you have to stock up on your way there unless you have a car.

The location for peace and tranquility was wonderful. You will be able to relax totally. The beach was long and sandy. The sea was warm. The snorkelling guide was great. The pool was great and there were usually enough beds/shades to sunbathe. Pool towels always available on request. Most of the staff were friendly, they welcomed and said goodbye to us with a beautiful song. The shuttle bus was convenient. The activities were on every day and were good. Our room opened literally onto the beach. The grounds were kept clean and tidy. I liked the fact that you charged everything back to your room, no cash needed. The room was adequate, lovely shower, big bed.

WiFi was extremely bad. Went over to the Intercon (5 min walk along the beach) to enjoy good WiFi. Nothing else besides that.

Amazing location (11/10), great staff and comfortable bure. Rent a car to enjoy the area.

Room 8 was next door to the maintenance workshop and didn’t really have a “full” Ocean view.

Some locals will approach you on the beach for private tours and may come across little pushy. As much as we love the welcoming message on the bed but end up having heaps of ants crawling out of the flowers and spent a good hour to get rid of them.

Beautiful spot and the beach is stunning! Very helpful and chill staff - Helped us organise a rental car last minute. Also, kudos to the chef who nailed the lamb curry and tandoori chicken. That end up being the highlight for us as boy oh boy most resort food is boring and blend but they definitely aced it !! Loved the daily activities and we had fun learning how to weave a basket. Dont miss the fire dance as the ground of young boys certainly know how to entertain the crowd and are super talented . A great stay overall! Thanks team Yatule!

A bit of a drive from the airport. The front beach has strong current so it was not ideal for swimming during high tide.

Intimate place, unlike the big accommodation nearby. Food is great with variety. Staff are lovely and provided helpful information. I love our yatule as it is infront of the beach. They have regular activities for both adults and children. I enjoyed playing volleyball with other guests that they organised.

The road into Yatule was a little "off road"; may need a grade. And sometimes there were clouds!!!

The staff were friendlier and more helpful than at any resort we have stayed at, world wide. I will miss my early breakfasts of Papaya, Healthy Ginger Shots, Banana Smoothie, delicious Coffee, Poached Eggs, Orange Yoghurt and Danish Pastries. We fell asleep with the beach breakers lapping only metres from our bure. The swimming pool was sparkling clean, and the beach was gorgeous. Probably the best value resort in Fiji. Being serenaded each morning and evening was so romantic.
