How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

As soon as you enter the hotel, you notice that there is a big difference between photos uploaded in booking.com for this hotel and the reality. Let's list a couple of things about this place: 1- There is no free internet either inside rooms or in common areas 2- They ask you to pay $23/night for the internet while you can get a sim card with 20GB of data from anywhere for $8!!! 3- Dirty walls and not very clean bathroom 4- If you think that you will have a big balcony with fantastic view, then you are in a wrong place. The balcony is around 1 square meter with a view to nothing (back alley in my case) 5- There is no real restaurant there, there is a space (they call it food court) but it's almost empty (just 1 store and 1 coffee shop) 6- I booked the same room from 2 difference websites (booking.com & Agoda) and apparently I forgot to cancel my booking with 1 of them (I accept my mistake). So, I talked to the hotel General Manager about it as they double charged me for the same room and same date and I explained what happened and told him that it's not fair to charge me twice, but apparently this is very common for them to take advantage of these kind of situation as he rejected my request very rudely and he said that's your fault Overall, DON'T make my mistake and never ever book this property or you will regret it later.

Front desk attendance I forgot my passport in the taxi. Desk attendance helped me. He made all alternatives to get my passport. I loved food Court. I liked out views in night. Overall of the Hotel staff and facilities are extremely good.
Relaxing atmosphere. Staff especially are so helpful. I was amazed that I was toured around the food court. Nicest place. I stayed overnight I was extremly pleaced.

Nothing really.
This seemed like a new establishment. The rooms were laid out well and very tidy. Showers were good, laundry facilities were an advantage. The location is ok. .Staff were helpful to organise a taxi in the morning for us to get to the airport on time. They called when the taxi had arrived. I would stay there again if I had and early flight.

had to ask for towels. Then, when went to bed, no pillow cases. We needed 4, they brought 8. Staff were nice, but some quality control issues on a long weekend.

Room was dirty. TV not working whole time. Ccockroach in room. Shower dirty. . Dagy bathroom. Not worth the money. Will never stay there ever. Did complain several times but TV not fixed & didn't even bother to move us to better room

Limited TV channels. Could only get fbc sport and fbc channel. However, they reassured me that they're working on getting more channels on the TV.
The room was spacious and I loved the balcony on the roof top. The view from the first room of the city was lovely. Great 3 bed family room. Loved it.

The accommodation was as described and the same as the pictures. Great for a one night stay and nearby to many restaurants with a supermarket downstairs if you need anything. It is convenient to the airport also, a 5 minute drive via taxi. The staff we checked in with was super friendly and helpful!

Splashback was melted, no outdoor space, charged additional money for no apparent reason. Only really suitable for one night waiting for your flight. No good for a holiday

Went to go to bed and found a pair of dirty socks under the sheets. They obviously had not been changed after the previous guests checked out. Was disgusted! Staff who bought us new sheets apologized but that was it. Never coming here again!
