Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

RomaniaWe did a long tour of all islands in the Yasawas, and Paradise Cove is on a short list of the very best. Of course, as it is a higher end resort, expectations were also high, but the place met them easily. The property is located on a beautiful island where the beach and water entry / water level is just perfect, regardless of high tide / low tide. One thing they don't say and they should advertise is the amazing coral reef they have just steps in the water. This was easily comparable with things we saw on boat trips. So definetlly a very big plus. Then the restaurants, they have two, and we loved them both . Magic breakfasts at the main restaurant in the gentle sun light or romantic dinners at Donu . Unforgetable memories . The team has some of the best people we met in Fiji and we felt very welcomed. Special greetings to Nebz , hope you get the message, the first steps with Scuba were very helpful, thank you.

New ZealandNothing !!
Loved everything about this resort the staff food accommodation I couldn’t fault anything. I liked that it wasn’t too big so with young children it was nice to have the pool not full of people. Friendly happy helpful staff at all times. There were 18 in our family group and we all loved our stay didn’t want to leave 🥲 I would go back in a heartbeat 💗

AustraliaMy second time visiting, and still took my breath away. Beautiful location, great food and incredible staff. The compulsory food plan may seem a lot, and is higher than stated in the information section. But is fine cuisine with plenty of choice, and a really big part of the stay.

SwitzerlandSomething to be aware of - When we booked, the meal plan price on Booking.com’s website and confirmation email was 239FJD per adult per day. We booked quite late - just a week in advance so I was charged for the stay a few days later and we were charged 259FJD per adult per day. I reached out about the discrepancy twice over email prior to arriving but was not answered. I would have expected to be refunded the difference.
There are so many positives about Paradise Cove! The property is well-maintained, we found the pool area and the grounds very nice. We stayed in a standard bungalow and it was clean and well-equipped. The food is delicious and Saki and team at the Japanese restaurant do a wonderful job! Complimentary snorkel gear, SUP and kayaks. Free filtered water available at the bar and always served with meals. We found drink prices to be reasonable (cocktails $23 FJD and wines by glass $10-20 FJD). Good range of free and charged activities available. Great entertainment by the band in the evenings. The resort never felt crowded and had an intimate feeling you won’t get at large hotel chains. The staff were lovely and made everyone feel welcome.

AustraliaActivities weren't always organised very well, and they could do with some more hooks in the bathrooms and maybe a clothes line in front of the bures for hanging up our bathers.
Lovely staff, amazing food and beautiful beach. Went with my 10 month old and 3 year old kids and the kids club with meimei was great, thanks Tilly! All the staff were so friendly to them, thanks Knox and Zach at the bar for the coconuts! Omasake dinner at Donu was some of the best food I've ever eaten, we will definitely be coming back and bringing the whole extended family next time

United StatesThat we couldn’t stay forever !
Everything. The most perfect paradise, of course the facilities are unreal with the best private beach and snorkeling just a few feet away from your room. Every meal was delicious, and the service was unbeatable. The staff here are GOLD, above and beyond kind and generous, my sister and I felt right at home. The best part was the kava ceremony nightly, a must do (casually the best most enchanting music i’ve heard in my life). THANK YOU PARADISE COVE!! Hope to be back soon ❤️

AustraliaNot much! Service was a little slow (trying to get a drink at the restaurant etc) but we soon got used to it.
Best off beach snorkelling I've ever seen. Comfortable and clean rooms. The food in the Japanese restaurant was outstanding. Absolutely loved the live music at dinner in the main restaurant. It really was paradise.

AustraliaLike all islands in Yasawa, there's bugs and mosquitoes. However, the resort provided free Aeroguard.
Service: Extremely helpful staff who remembered our names throughout our stay. We also met the owners, who were wonderful! We stayed here for our honeymoon, and the staff and owners made us feel extremely welcome. They made our honeymoon all the more special and we'll always have fond memories here. Location: The snorkelling was 10/10. In the crystal clear water, we saw a manta ray, a turtle, every colour fish, including seeing blue trevallies busting up the surface every 10-20 mins. Activities: We did the fishing charter and caught a yellow fin tuna. There are free kayaks and snorkels for everyone. There is a short track that took us to a beautiful sunset, which is worth going at least once. It's quite a large resort with an adults area, so you never feel cramped.

FijiDon't need the piped music. Charging for water once the fridge was empty seems a bit penny pinching
its a lovely resort. Not too small, not too big. Idyllic location. Food is very good (although Fijian tasting menu was an idea that didn't really work).Gym decent for a smallish place. Staff are delightful.

IndiaIt's bit expensive to go there (400 FJD for return) and meal plans ( 250 FJD per person) which is a mandatory cost. But it's the same in all the other 5 star resorts.
Staff, the activities they plan , specially the kava ceremony and a little live from the team. Snorkeling and kayaking we enjoyed which is free and just outside on the beach, crystal clear water. Loved Welcome and farewell songs. And room is nice and spacious. If you're in fiji - go to any islands and don't stay on the mainland as there's nothing much on mainland. I would suggest stay on different island resorts everyday and get the hop on hop off ferry pass for transports.

AustraliaSome of the wooden decking could be a little dangerous with raised and broken edges and loose protruding nail heads etc.
Very good snorkelling at the hotel beach. 3 x nice pools to relax in. 2 x excellent restaurants and bars. Nightly entertainment. My 7 year old daughter said the Kids club was the absolute best! (She was at 3 kids clubs on our holidays at different hotels) We loved the outdoor bathroom. Plenty of resort activities daily. Internet access was better than the mainland hotels we stayed at. Peaceful and relaxing place to stay. Very friendly and helpful staff.

United KingdomIf you visualise an image of a tropical sun drenched paradise, then Paradise Cove will match that and more. We felt the warmth of the staff from our arrival by fast ferry and loved the comfortable bungalows that were less than 100m from the main facilities. The pool and restaurant area was spotless and while busy at times never felt crowded. the food experience was exceptional - other than a little disappointment that 1-2 of the dishes on the menu were unavailable ( a consequence of island life perhaps) every meal and dish was first class. It wasn't surprising therefore when we met several returning guests, particularly those with young families who highly praised the kids club and the whole resort experience. If it wasn't so far away from us we would be back again and again.
