Everything was amazing, from the check in day until check out day, the stuff is amazing and always smiling, rooms are big "Family size" privacy is guaranteed, too many options in the main restaurant "Shahrazad" the Bedouin restaurant is also worth to try, they have a nice football bar for football fans, beach is awesome and proper for kids it's not hard at all to find a place for you in the beach, aqua is amazing for kids and young people, i will for sure come back and probably very soon!

It would be good to have more seats for non-smokers at main buffet restaurant outside area at breakfast/lunch/dinner. People who don't smoke would like to have fresh air ☺️

I give my strong 10 to this hotel. Have been to many hotels in Egypt, but this one is the best. Food was great, good choice at buffet as well as many ala carte restaurants. Beach is fantastic, good sunbeds and big umbrellas. Towel center opens very early and closes very late for those who like to stay longer on the beach or come at 7 in the morning. People working here are very nice. We had a room at building 16, close to everything. Children liked aquapark. Animation team doing their best. So we would like to thank you for a nice vacation and I definitely recommend this hotel for everyone.

The room felt a bit outdated, could really benefit from a refurbishment. The food in the buffet restaurant although generally was fine, was not very varied. Breakfast and lunch pretty much had the same items every day, with little variation, we got bored fairly quickly. What we also found a bit strange is that guests from the new Tucana hotel next door, were also allowed to use the beach and restaurants of Sunrise Royal Makadi, but not vice versa. This wasn't too much of an issue right now, outside of the high season, but one can imagine when things get busier, this might lead to capacity problems.

Beautiful, well maintained resort. The snorkeling on both the house reef and the one at the hotel next door was great, lots of different sorts of fish to see. The staff is exceptional, they really go above and beyond to satisfy your needs and to make you feel right at home. Our room had all the comforts you could wish for and was really well kept, the towel art and room decorations for my wife's birthday were really appreciated. Food was generally good, and several a la carte restaurants definitely helped with keeping things varied. Animation team is great, always in for a laugh and they go to great lengths keeping everyone entertained, with a variety of activities throughout the day.

It was our very first time at the Royal Makadi Sunrise Resort and the experience has simply been exceptional. It started with the reservation and the communication with the hotel has been very reactive and fluide. Our requests for the room was respected and the entire team is super efficient to make the check in super fast. The entire complex is very well managed. The team (reception, restaurant, beach, maintenance etc...) is super friendly and customer oriented. To be frank this is not the style we were used to in Egypt, and it was really impressive. Choice of restaurant (buffet or à la carte) is really great. Unique (tiny) comment -> the online booking system for the restaurant is working randomly but customer service was always ready to help. To be super "peaky", tennis courts may open a bit earlier than 8 AM. When things are easy, no need to make them complicated -> we are super happy with our stay and are clearly envisaging to come back in the near future.

Not related to the hotel stay itself, but we booked a day trip to Louxor via Skymax Holidays (hotel lobby). The trip was very expensive and the private guide was not great at all. He brought us to so called « museums » which were tourists traps, not interesting at all. The food was supposed to be 4* restaurant and ended up being an average buffet. The only good thing was our 2 drivers, very nice and friendly. I would not recommend this agency.

We were a bit lost the first day: a flyer with a plan of the complex would have helped greatly. The sellers are also a bit too pushy, even though the have a system with a red flag indicating you do not want to be approached. Just as the staff is pushy for reviews: I got dozens(!) of messages asking me to review their hotel. I was also missing easy access to the list of all activities.

The food was great and varied. The staff was friendly. Good facilities. Many pools and activities Our son loved the kinder disco. It was the highlight of his holiday

One of our best stays in hotels ever , all staff were so kind and really understand the meaning of hospitality , from the first person we met at the reception Mr.Ahmed Adel who helped us to book one of beautiful room. Too many thanks to room service who was very helpful and keep the room so clean. The restaurant was amazing with variety of delicious food and the chefs were really welcoming from them. We loved the entertainment team and they did amazing activities all the day. and night shows were amazing which made our stay very joyful. Also my child enjoyed animation activities. Thanks for Mr.Adel who was more than helpful, friendly and made our stay amazing. Really enjoyed the service and our stay and we definitely will come back again soon.

Variance in payment amounts on booking than hotel website We were group of five families payed different amounts although we all had family rooms , booked on same day.

The food variety and quality was so good 😊 Staff were very helpful and friendly Activities and animations on beach were so funny especially for kids The sea was so transparent, clean and marvelous
