Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

There is no restaurant or café, so getting a cup of coffee first thing in the morning was a challenge. The first morning I found a café in the Hilton around the corner that opened at 9am and the second morning a restaurant that opened at 8:30, but there was no way to get coffee before then (that I could find).
It was a very clean and quiet hotel with a friendly and helpful staff. The location was convenient to trams and historical sights.

There weren’t any tea/coffee making facilities in the room. Breakfast was expensive if you just wanted something light and many of the cafes nearby didn’t open until 10:00.
Townhouse is a perfect hotel for a visit to Dresden - located on Neumarkt, all the key tourist sites are close by. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful.

The breakfast could have more options for it's price. There were a few options of muesli, salami and cheese. Some fruits, bread rolls etc. One could also order(it is included in price) one dish with eggs. I am not a big fun of muesli so it was a bit of disappointment that there were not so many things left which I could try out. From one side, everything was fresh and tasty. From another, it feels like 28 euro is a little too much for such breakfast. If we stayed longer we would have definitely checked out other places for breakfast.
The hotel is located in a perfect area and close to many tourist spots. And it is also nice just to walk in the neighbourhood. There are a lot of restaurants and supermarkets. The hotel is modern and looks very good from inside. Our room was enough for two people and spacious. There are almost everything you might need for the short stay: big comfortable bed, a table, TV, a mini-bar, bathroom). The room was clean. There is a very nice gym with a lot of different equipment, a cocktail-bar and a restaurant for breakfast. It was quiet during the night. The hotel personnel is very friendly and ready to help. We arrived to Dresden Hauptbahnhof and walked around 25 minutes.

I would recommend to add tea and coffee kit to the room.

There was no Iron or Ironing board in the room.
Excellent location. Good for business or leisure. The rooms are spacious and the bathrooms are good. The shower is powerful which was a nice surprise.

Just as a service suggestion and not a big deal, parking directions indication wasn't very clear, would be helpful to explain more (there is a direct access from the parking to the hotels elevator and which parking to go to), as it's historical area, we were not sure we can drive

Location is exceptional, personnel is amazing - friendly and professional. Very clean and comfortable rooms, we had mini-bar with lemonades, waters and beer for free. Breakfast is good.
