The facilities seemed from this century, everything was clean and this almost felt like a premium experience. The location is almost nice, it is between Potsdamer Platz (big station) and Anhalter Bahnhof (small S-bahn station). This seems to be a place where new stuff is being built and it is mostly new office buildings and hotels. You are probably going to Potsdamer Platz or The Playce shopping mall. Also you can walk to Checkpoint Charlie easily, but I don't know.. The location is good, not optimal. If you want a clean new place to stay in "up 'n coming" neighborhood, this might be for you. The staff was sometimes only one person, but they handled things well (once you asked).

My AC was not working. And Berlin was 27C, which was so hot.. First my room was 20C, and I thought everything was fine, but it wasn't. Next day I told the reception my AC was not working, I used the indoor tablet to chat my AC was not working and I left a note: AC not working. It was fixed while I was touristing Reichstagdome. No note, no reply, nothing. But it was fixed and my second night was far more enjoyable. Also, there was a weird remote that was missing batteries. Maybe my room had a wooden fan above the ceiling or maybe it didn't work. Don't care, when AC started working, it was cool again. Hotel had a strict non-smoking policy, but there was a single cigarette stub on my balcony. Wasn't me. Somebody had closed the water pipe to my toilet, so it didn't fill itself. This one I managed to fix myself. The indoor tablet was kinda lame - just a brochure and a way to contact staff. Would be nice, if it had info on your systems, like the AC, so a guest could more easily conclude the AC is broken.

Everything was indeed excellent, absolutely sweet and cozy room with a balcony, extremely nice team is working there, so peaceful and charming location and just 5 minutes from S-Bahn! What I particularly liked is that each detail is carefully placed, it is so elegant and also feels like at home!

I asked for a late minute request regarding the carpet (I wanted a room without it) and they did it. The bed was comfy, the room relatively clean. Breakfast was simple.

Did not think we would need air conditioning for our stay in April, but we did. Temps outside reached 80F (27C) while street noise limits time for windows open. What is summer heat like? Reception could help by explaining how shades and windows can help alleviate heat. No linens provided for "extra bed" (fold out sofa). Floors were probably swept but not washed, felt gritty on bare feet. Limited glass ware and spoons. No dishwasher or laundry soap. Reception is very busy, one person handling what appears to be a large number of apartments. Feels like corporate ownership is underpaying and overworking staff.
