Being of the 4th floor was a pain with no lift but we were expecting this. Having a kettle in our rooms would have been preferable again as it was annoying to go all the way downstairs (it's more like 8 floors). Finally, I don't think they actually ever do breakfast looking at previous reviews so I don't think it should be advertised.

Loved the location. Was so easy to get into the centre but was nice to be just enough out of it that it was more green and peaceful. We were pleasantly surprised that we got really good and quiet nights sleep with the windows cracked open over a weekend in May. Was also fab to have a fan in the room. Also the Italian restaurant next door was amazing.

We wanted a reasonably priced place to stay for a large family and it met our expectations of a hostel type hotel. We had a room with bunkbeds and our own shower and sink which was helpful with small kids. We did not have food at the facility but there are many places nearby. The hotel is located very close to public transportation, which made getting around easy. We enjoyed the pippi longstocking playground nearby.

we were super excited for the house facade on the pictures - unfortunately, currently under reconstruction, but this is acceptable. we are looking forward for the "new" one.

I was provided with towels, however the small ones. One of the beds with a spring mattress was really uncomfortable. There's no elevator, but I already knew about it.

The location is really good. The station is in front of the hostel. A lot of restaurants around. There's luggage storage without a fee.

It would be nice if the shared bathroom showers were behind a door. The fact that people walk past the shower curtain to go to the toilet was a little unnerving.

The atmosphere was good. The people were helpful and friendly. The room felt secure and it is close to the train station for access to the rest of the city.

The beds were not made up, and as I arrived super late and someone was asleep I wasn't able to put the sheets on the bed. The room I was in only had 2 other women staying in it, however a woman (approximately 50-60years old) told me she was in a room with a lot of young men and didn't feel safe. This was the opposite of my experience here, and I said she should request to move to our room. I don't know whether she did or not.

Staff were friendly. Spoke perfect English. Spacious and I felt secure staying here.

There wasn't breakfast. No hairdryer. They dont clean my room for three days, don't change towels. Some people who stayed there in hostel rooms was very specific...

Good location near messe, nice clean room and bathroom. Good to have microwave in first floor, coffee, some food and drinks to buy

A bit small, shared bathroom had problems as in people would lock it for long periods of time.

Location VERY close to the S-Bahn, getting anywhere was insanely easy. Cute shops etc nearby. The staff is amazingly nice and kind! I also loved being able to have my own meals etc at the reception, it was lovely to go downstairs and being able to buy frozen food etc and use their amenities. Not luxury obviously but it was an amazing deal for the money. I also love the look of the hotel!

Good location to explore the whole of Berlin, located directly at S-Bahn. Showers and toilets cleaned daily. Friendly staff. Has everything you need.

It's not a modern place, so expect a bare minimum.

Affordable overnight stay in Berlin. Decent value for money. The room had a normal private bathroom, which is a plus.

Beds could be more comfortable and more washing facilities. Booking.com charged me for breakfast but did not tell this to the hostel )-:

Staff were great, very good for making you feel welcome and included. It is a very inclusive and friendly hostel. I extended my stay.

I stayed on floor 4 and it was very long stairs up there…. Kitchen as such didn’t exist, it was possible to heat things up and make hot drinks.

Right next to S-bahn! Beer available 2.50 24/7! Many interesting sites close by! Deutsche Oper 15 minutes walk!
