Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

NetherlandsSmall things show that the hotel is not of the high-end category: an amenity kit is missing & the breakfast could be a little bigger. Also for someone from The Netherlands, the beds are clearly too small & the pillow was a little too big and not so comfortable (though this is personal preference of course).
It's a nice and clean hotel. The rooms are very spatious, with plenty of seating and windows for natural light. The bathroom is also very nice. Comparing to hotels in the city centre of Cologne, the price / quality is very good. It's nice to be out of the busy city, though the drive through the outskirts of Cologne, to get to the centre can be long with some traffic.

I had made a reservation for October 20th instead of September 29th but the extremely friendly guy at the reservation desk changed my reservation without any problem while the hotel was fully booked but he managed to give me a room that wasn't operational. That's what I call service and it was their fault I made a wrong reservation at a probably lower rate than the normal rate that weekend. Great breakfast as well, probably the reason I came back to this hotel for the fourth time.
