The Wi-Fi was a bit spotty, but there are several networks to choose from, and if you move around, you can usually connect to one that works.

The staff were friendly, especially Sanja, who deserves the Employee of the Century award. This helped create a welcoming social vibe, which is important in Medellín, the party capital of the world. The beds had privacy curtains. The breakfast was yummy!

Good location in a calm street with view to the woods but 5 minutes to the busy Provenza nightlife. Social area to meet other guests. If you get the double bed it is really comfortable.

We got the room next to the kitchen which was loud. if you are unlucky to get that room turn the fan on so it can drown out some of the noise.

Staff were lovely and helpful. Good location for Pablado but a 30 minute walk to the metro which we didn’t mind. Nice common areas.

if you want to go out I don’t recommend this place since it’s already a bit outside el poblado and I didn’t feel safe walking back home alone at night.

if you’re looking for a calm place to stay that it’s still walking distance from el poblado this is it. the rooms were really big and spacious.

Unfortunately there was a construction site next door - completely out of the hostels control, but being awoken at 6am every morning was not ideal!

The location was ideal for us - close to restaurants, supermarket and in a quiet area. The staff were amazing - incredibly helpful with tour information, transport etc but also very chatty and interested in us. The kitchen was spacious and well stocked. We enjoyed the outside common space. Breakfast included pancakes which was a nice treat. The fruit was freshly cut every morning. The walk to and from the hostel to the main Poblado area, even at night, felt very safe.

The first day when flushing the toilet it was not working but then the problem was solved.

I felt the lack of air inside the building, and my room did not have a window, also there was a strange smell because of this. The breakfast was simple (pancakes) but ok. For the price I expected higher quality service, or better equipped room, but its a hostel with basic things, nothing special indicating the high price for a basic dorm bed. The neighbourhood is safe, but Poblado metro station is more than 30 minutes by walking, so I was not amazed by the location. Curtains are missing from the beds.

The staff is very nice and helpful, the athmosphere is great. Bathroom&shower were really nice, cozy and big.

Very cute and nice Hostel. It’s a small Hostel in a good and safe location, next to a lot of restaurants, with a chill vibe so it’s easy to meet people. The BBQ on Sunday is amazing and good value for the price. The staff is also very nice and friendly. I would stay again.

The roof of the terrace was leaking. The room I was staying in was really full with lots of beds. The hostel is a 30 min walk from the metro station.

The dorm I was put in had the lockers occupied with things belonging to people living there . Also the bathroom was full with their stuff too. In the mornings people were sleeping in the common area (maybe drunk guests, or volunteers or just people living there). Breakfast had to be cooked by one self which is a nice idea but not so nice when everyone puts their hands in the pancake bowl or coffee pot.

**I didn't like that the main bathrooms upstairs inside the room and outside did not have hand soap for washing your hands after using the bathroom. It's so important, especially during Covid times, to have antibacterial hand soap and hand sanitizer handy after using the restroom! Fortunately, I carry hand sanitizer with me everywhere I go now. **I was charged more than $3,000 pesos per hour for a late checkout after 12pm noon ($10,000 pesos for 3 hours or 1/3 the cost of the room for one night). I don't think any hostel or hotel would charge this absurd amount but I paid it anyway because the cost wasn't too bad.

**The positive energy at this hostel is pretty cool from the guests to the volunteers and staff. Everyone was very kind. We went out together as a group of like 20 people one weekend. It was fun! **The beds have outlets so you can charge your phones. **The showers have hot water. **It's located in a nice part of Poblado, away from the discos and bars, but walking distance to everything you could want. **They make strong cocktails at the bar and the prices aren't expensive. **The hostel has a variety of games to play with other guests on cold or rainy days when you don't want to go out.
