We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

Room located on the 18th floor. Very quiet. The outside environment does not allow to have a nice view. The room was spacious. Comfortable bed. The bathroom is quite big. The breakfast buffet is average. Choice between Asian and western dishes. But I expected better quality and variety being at Novotel. The staff is welcoming.

South AfricaMore staff needed during the evening shift as one staff member was trying to check in three different couples when we arrived (also doesn't help being a foreigner with all the covid paperwork). Gym was a mess with no aircon in 35 degree weather. Breakfast was not up to Novotel standards. Ate there the first morning, didn't bother on the second and third mornings. However I would stay here again, just without breakfast.
Staff were friendly, got a free upgrade and room was very spacious. Great value for money and the location was excellent.

MyanmarThe staff that stood out to me was the concierge. His attitude was one of the worst things I have ever encountered during my stay. He was quite rude when I asked him to store my spouse's and my carry ons. It felt like it was a chore for him even when he had nothing to do. Moreover, when I asked him the direction to the bathroom at the lobby, he just pointed towards the reception and said "go to them". My spouse and I was quite shocked at the standard of the staffs especially at the concierge. Next, when I wanted to extend my stay to a half day, I called the reception ahead to make sure the price was what I have agreed over the phone which was 300 RMB. However, when I myself came to the reception, no one could confirmed with me and told me another price. I personally do not have the problem with the upcharge but it is very unprofessional to say one price and the another price at the reception. I find it very insulting towards my spouse and towards my time.
The only thing I liked about the property was it is close to my spouse's work place. So it was quite convenient.

Singaporei thought i paid for a hotel room with working air-cons. First day of stay the hotel staffs confirmed with me the air-con in my room is only running from the centralised system controlled by the hotel, the isolated one in my room is de-activated, why? So, they offered to send me a standing fan! which i took because the room is so stuffy even after opening the window and the thermostat in the room constantly reads 26 to 28 d.c Come on, it's not even winter yet in nanjing during november.

AustraliaI would NEVER recommend this hotel to any traveller, simply because they could not be bothered responding to my THREE messages, not to mention Booking.com also contacted then TWICE and no reply. Extremely poor customer service, and I find it amusing that other reviews posted that the customer service was great. What a joke! My advice- pay extra and book elsewhere.
