People in next room came in late one night,after 11:30 pm and were loud, could hear their door open and shut.

We had to call multiple times as the line was always busy (on roaming charges) and wait for about 20-25 minutes to gain access to the building.

Great location, well stocked room. Rooms are very small, but this is what you would expect from a Victorian building. Close to the metro station but you can also walk downtown.

As expected in an old house, no elevator. 25 minutes walk to U. of Toronto campus.

On arrival, we were standing at the locked front door asking for a door code even arriving during the mentioned check-in times. We checked our email, but nothing was specified. A code we have found in the email did not work. As we tried, someone must have heard us and opened the door. Check-in was quick, but we were sent to the wrong level. The room was 1 level down. Bathroom was very small. We found the coffee/tea facilities and the fridge on checking the room before check out. They were in a cabinet but not marked at the outside.

Not enogh space for table where you can eat.

There is plenty of kitchen gear to use. Coffee, forkst spoons. Kettle etc. Quiete rooms comfortable beds.

Small rooms. Loud outside at night (people yelling). Neighbourhood isn’t terrible but little rough around the edges with homeless people.

Nice building. Affordable. Room was clean and tidy. Housekeeping came and provided fresh towels. Check in was easy. Checkout was easy.

I could not get the TV to work, which would have been nice. The shower had an oddly shaped ceiling, but luckily I'm short enough (5'9") so it wasn't a big deal.

The location was good, next to a train station and walking distance to some shops and restaurants. The bed was comfortable and the room I stayed at was small, but I can't expect much from an old Victorian style place.

Bad Wi Fi signal in the 3rd floor room. The electricity does not work well, you cannot turn on the microwave with the hair dryer, it could cause lighting problems. The bathroom was not very clean, nor under the bed or the sofa. It said it had coffee and tea available but there wasn't any. The person at the reception is not there so you have to find him by calling from the door phone because the one in the room did not work. It is not suitable for people with reduced mobility.

I booked the studio room, its big. The bed is very confortable. We have a sofa, and a complete kitchen with microwave, freeze, toast, electric jab and a mini hitten. It is ubícated close a metro and between 2 Ave. In the corner it has a mini market open 24hs.

The proximity of the hotel to public transit and the Church/Wellesley village was perfect.

The parking is very narrow and the area is very small. I did have difficulty trying to get in and out of the parking lot. I would be careful if you have a larger vehicle.

The location was Central to where we wanted to go, and I like the fact that it was a secure building. The room was small but very comfortable. The building had a lot of unique features to it, it had a charm to it that was really sweet. The young lady at the front desk who assisted us was very helpful.

There were many appliance sockets. The staff were absent most of the time and when you were there you had to call them in order to attend you.

I would say these rooms are for folks who intend to be out and about - they are cute & cozy, but not all rooms are big and they aren't outfitted like chain hotel rooms. To be fair, this is exactly what I needed and wanted so it worked splendidly for me, but figured I'd mention it if it's not others' cup of tea.

Love the location, area is near activities but also quiet, price is great, rooms are quaint, home-y, & clean. I also greatly appreciate the service/options they provide for late check-in as someone who travels after a workday.

Generous tea and coffee facilities but they were in a cupboard. TV, which we didn't use, very 'delicate' so we couldn't use the electric socket to charge our numerous devices.

Bed headboard needed to be raised as the floor went downhill as you got to wall where headboard placed.
