On the deck overlooking the lake, there was a plank missing that you could trip into.

The host, Mitch, was so kind to us. When we arrived, it was 20 mins after the kitchen closed at the restaurant, but because there are no restaurants in the area, she stayed late to cook us food. The next morning before we left, she had coffee and fresh muffins waiting for us. The hosts cared about us so much! The room was very cozy and outdoors themed. The showers had warm water and the bathrooms were clean. The cabin bathroom is separate from the ones the campers/RVs use, so it stays cleaner.

Although the shared toilets ans showers were very clean, we were expecting a private bathroom in our cabin.

The location is good for exploring the area, which we did with Atlin andTeslin. Scagway, and Whitehorse reachable. Hosts, hospitable, friendly and fun. Our travel companions returned on their homeward journey.

Simply everything. Fantastic high quality food. Felt like home away from home. Exceptionally kind and fun owners, Mitch and Doug will stay in our memories! Superb river location, you can paddle in remote side rivers along eagles and otters. Cabins are cozy, mattress comfortable and everything decorated in a way that you keep finding new stuff every day. Shared bathrooms spotless and well maintained. Thank you guys for everything!

It was a cabin, the washroom is in the main building

Liked everything. The comfy cabin, the fire place was keeping our place warm at our arrival. The owners checked with us to ask about our arrival time. Served us dinner even if they were ready to go. The pizza was so yummy and they were so helpful. So many antiques on the property that you could spend a whole day browsing and still would not have seen it all. I would of liked to spend more than two nights.

Mitch and her husband were exceptional people, extremely friendly and kind, you could talk to them and you would feel like you have known them forever! The facilities were exceptionnally clean and the view was georgous and yet calm. Good luck to both owners in their future plans.

Getting up and dressed to use the bathroom at night. But we knew that ahead of time. All part of the experience. The bathrooms and showers were very nice.

The view from the cabin was breathtaking. Doug and Mitch ensured we had a substantial breakfast and anything else we needed.

Don't show up late? We had a long drive that day, and with small children it takes longer. We didn't know there was a time limit for checking in. Arriving at 11p is apparently not ideal. We didn't know when we booked that the description on booking wasn't quite right, and we surely didn't know that an arrow above our name on a chalk board near the main house was indicative of where we'd stay. I called the phone number on the board, because we honestly didn't know, only to get angry hosts who didn't appreciate being woken up. We also had to settle confusion about the lodging and bathrooms. Be ware if of the double toilet bathroom... That is a little strange.

The location is beautiful and the rooms were very quaint. The hosts were accommodating, and we settled up in the morning the cost difference for what booking.com doesn't get right. The greenhouse and kitchen are lovely and well crafted and decorated.

We arrived late due to road conditions and had to wake the manager up for check-in. He was very accommodating based on the situation but the experience was awkward.

I prefer attached baths, but I knew what to expect, but not how spotlessly clean the facilities were, so that made up for the walk.

Great owner/host. Went way out of his way to deal with my late arrival. Facilities super clean, and while he is an eclectic collector, his passion for antiques and his cleanliness and organization make it anything but cluttered. Fun visit!
