Odd smell is the room (not the low tide smell). The top sheet was pilled (very rough) so bad I couldn't use it, and by that time, I was too tired to deal with asking for another. $194 for a motel/hotel seemed a bit steep. No elevator, just outside stairs. Will not stay again.

Smoke pit! Cigarette butts everywhere and you couldn’t help but notice when you walked by. Also the bottom floor wasn’t private with the ocean view as other guests used the space as well.

Wasn't a problem for us, we are not light sleepers. The building itself is older, and the sound proofing is lacking.

The beds were comfortable, bathrooms are newly updated. We got lucky to be in the room that had water view. It was a lovely experience.

I did not like being called several times at 7 pm to ask when I would be checking in. Your office is open till 11 pm so I don't understand.

It is a lovely location . So convenient to have food available next door.The rooms are nice. The staff are friendly and even offered to get me a coffee while waiting for my ride in the morning.

There was no coffee maker, mugs, glasses, cups in the room. There was no clock. I was unable to sort out the TV. I found the pillows very uncomfortable.

The look of the room is modern. The location was great for me. There is a pub and restaurant right next store and I love that the plane comes in right there.

I did not like walking through a cloud of smoke to get into my room. Maybe ask people not to stand on walkway and smoke. The carpets were wet when we arrived and I would not care except a warning would have been nice would have saved socks from getting soaked.

Good location close to town. I liked the pub right next door for something to eat. The view was lovely. The room was nice decorated. Exceptfor the noise from the pub it was quiet.

I would have liked to have ice, either by an ice machine or ice trays. There was one tiny ice tray but it wasn’t frozen yet and would liked to have a cold drink.

We are seniors so a second chair in the room would have been nice. King size beds were not available which was too bad as there would have been a bit more unencumbered space available. A quick “how to” note re accessing the TV -- 2 remotes were confusing (perhaps it was just a “senior” thing).

Location, price, view, TV selection, amenities- ie coffee maker worked perfectly, fridge and microwave were both used by us. The staff were so pleasant, helpful and professional and a small but important thing - the room key cards worked perfectly.

We were greeted by a friendly staff member who accommodated us with a better parking area due to rainy weather. We are completely satisfied with the location, room & view. Not a sunny evening or morning on the "Sunshine Coast" but it suited our needs.

The location was close to the highway for our morning commute. The room was clean and satisfactory for our needs. Unfortunately the coffee maker was not working so we were unable to use it. The front desk was apologetic but was unable to help before we left. Overall it was a pleasant room and staff.
