Clean and comfortable apartment in a great location; close to everything. Beds are very comfortable. All the basic requirements to function are covered. Pet friendly a real plus for us.

The small bed in the second room. It would have been nice to have tea, coffee, milk etc available as there was nothing at all and maybe some condiments.

Fantastic location within walking distance of key transport spots and literally across the road from a great supermarket ; The arrivals process was made incredibly easy, being met on the night and great communication.

A few minor things needed maintenance (bathroom basin plug, door lock, Venetians did not close, door hinges squeaked, mattress had a deep dip - which was reported but nil action taken until there was a chance property inspection).

Location was great, lifts very efficient, wonderful linen supply.

Small things missing ...something to do dishes with, a brush/cloth. Also, we have become accustomed, at Air B&B locations, that there wouls always be items, left by owners or previous tenants, that we could use to cook, prepare meals or use. Left over spices, sugar, salt/pepper and the like, that we could use and perhaps add to, but, NOTHING was there. Felt like a 'hotel' room while we booked an Air B&B. Disappointing also given price we paid.

This property needs some TLC. It just looks very old and tired. The blinds are half broken, the AC either does not work or is not there so the place heats up very quick. The TV did not really work it tries to stream but it freezes so it is not really useful. The caulking in the bathroom needs attention. The real downer is the paid parking which if you are paying over $600 per night seems like a bit of nickel and dimming to me.

The location is phenomenal - the secured parking is great too. It's generally very quiet and comfortable. The host is super friendly and great and very easy to interact with. The internet connection is fast and works great but the TV steaming is useless.

Couch was a little undersized for the apartment; could have had another lounge chair. Some of the window furnishings need maintenance. The toilet seat in ensuite bathroom is stained and unsightly.

The location was great. Easy walking distance to most locales. Well appointed apartment with many appliances appearing to be new. Good size ensuite and 2nd bathroom .

Bed was broken when we arrived, multiple broken slats, and not repaired while we were there. Spent each night sleeping in a hole!

This unit had a funny layout with a lot of unusable space compared to a unit we rented in the adjacent tower earlier this year. One of the bathrooms smelled moldy and the hallway carpet could use a steam cleaning.

Great location within walking distance to shopping, restaurants, beach and Stanley Park. Quiet building without many neighbors. Well stocked with kitchen gadgets, but would appreciate salt and pepper and other spices.

Plumbing in ensuite - w.c. didn't flush properly, shower very slow to drain. Kitchen equipment - no corkscrew, coffee maker ante-diluvian and should be binned ASAP and replaced by a modern machine or French press

it was hard to contact the key holder if you didnt have internet or phone. Only had 1 dishwasher tablet for a 5 day stay. small bottle of washing liquid but no cloth to use to clean the dishes. Need to think about people staying longer than 1 night

The property was clean, 2 bathrooms, close to the Vancouver Convention Centre and Robson st where you can find tons of shops and restaurants.

Fittings were well worn and carpets dirty. No air conditioning in bedrooms which were very hot with full length windows in full sun all day and blinds that were defective. Marketing information is misleading and whilst pictures may not have been the actual apartment we were offered, all the pictures showed apartments that were a far better standard than ours. The address given for the property in the advertising was in a next door block to where we were allocated and sounded acceptable and relatively quiet for a city centre. Our actual apartment was on a very noisy corner with late opening bars and restaurants below.

The unit we got had paint fumes from recent renovation that was done hair before we arrived. The paint and chemical fumes never abated the entire week despite us getting fans and keeping windows open to air out the fumes. Caused terrible headaches. Asked for another apartment and told they were full. We had changed our reservations from a prior booking but I’d they had told us that the apartment would be renovated just prior to our stay we would not have picked that date. Although staff was nice and very helpful - renting out a property with fresh paint and construction fumes that won’t abate is unacceptable. All They did was waive the $100 rebooking fee. The price to stay in such an intolerable accommodation was unreasonable. Location is great however but would never rent from Dunowen again and would dissuade anyone else from doing so.

We found the beds extremely uncomfortable. Also, the furniture, drapes, etc. were torn or damaged, and honestly need to be refreshed. Unfortunately, the TV did work well while we were there. While the host was very responsive when we mentioned it, the issue was not resolved. Given that it rained half the time we were there, we found ourselves indoors quite a bit, and television would have been a nice source of entertainment. Finally, it was a little weird that we were advised not to speak with neighbors.

Location is great. We were able to walk to most places, or walk to public transit to get to other parts of the city. While numerous restaurants are available, we found that it was the same kind of food immediately around the facility.

Picture of the apartment on Booking.com was not at all representative of the bare-bones apartment we were given. There was no soap for anything but the dishwasher. There were no paper products but very thin, poorly made toilet paper.

Staying in downtown Vancouver. Everything worked well. Clean but old; showing signs of wear and tear (literally). Instructions were clear and easy to understand.
