Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaIf they ever put in a sauna or jacuzzi I’m sure guests would love it. But it’s perfect as is.
Absolutely beautiful home Re created as a small boutique hotel. With an adorable pizzeria built alongside and in it That was delicious and very romantic Perfect for a small reunion or intimate conversation w friends The staff and Margarita felt like family when one of our group took sick They were all so helpful and kind. Truly service is as yet a personal well accomplished gracious art form in la casa de la margarita.

GermanyPlease be aware that there is a pizzeria within the same house that opens from 5 pm to 11 pm each day. The noise is low, but noticeable. If you need complete silence, ask for a respective room. We stayed in the ground floor and heard some music from the pizzeria, but were not bothered.
Very lovely place. The owner of the hotel (her name is Margarita) takes care of the service and quality and makes sure that every guest is content. She was always available and has a great staff. The location is safe, the suburb is lovely for walking, sports, dining, chilling. The city center (main square: plaza 14 de septiembre) is easily reached by taxi or within a nice walk of 40 minutes. There aren't so many great hotels in Cochabamba, I can really recommend La Casa de Margarita and would return anytime.

GermanyThe hotel Casa de Margarita is an excellent place to relax in the busy town of Cochabamba. It is a boutique hotel with a restaurant serving very nice meals, set in an exclusive garden, in a central location of the town. The owner and her attentive and helpful staff make sure, that you will feel totally at home. The service and the facilities are perfect. Definitely a place to return, if one has the opportunity.

BoliviaThe room on the ground floor that my parents were staying in was rather small and the sensor hyper sensitive. Every movement in bed caused the night light to go on.
Staff made us feel welcome and at home from the very beginning. The family room we were staying in was huge, as was the bathroom with a double shower and hot water and good pressure. The hotel is close to attractions like Cristo de la Concordia and Palacio Portales as well as a myriad of cafés and restaurants and shopping places. Breakfast is especially appealing to cereal lovers.

United KingdomOne aspect that was a little disappointing was the service in the restaurant in the evening. Although the food and wine was very good, the service was unfortunately extremely slow and the servers lacked attention, for example we ordered a lasagne which never arrived and the drinks we ordered weren’t served until after our food had arrived.
Great location and secure free parking available. Very friendly and attentive staff who felt like family. The hotel itself is very unique and really feels like a home away from home.

GermanyThe walls are a bit thin, but was OK for us. It's not the cheapest option but worth it.
Margarita and her staff are extremely friendly and helpful hosts, you feel at home and you can use many spots in the house, living area and garden to relax. We also had to work remotely and used the balcony therfore. Wlan was working well. Their Pizzaria and the selection of food and drinks is great. We were happy with the laundry and ironing service.

United States of AmericaThe hotel needs to develop a small map to show taxi drivers. We had 4 or 5 taxis refuse to take us because they could not figure out where the hotel was. Also, hotel needs bigger signs out on the street where they can be seen.
The breakfast was fantastic. Yogurt with a tray of goodies to mix in. Great coffee and eggs.

United KingdomThe only thing we were not impressed with is the breakfast. There was very limited option.
The hotel was lovely. There’s a lot of cute amazing things within the hotel. There’s a library and lots of board games. The hotel staff were amazing. We met the owners and they are amazing. The hotel restaurant serves great food. The hotel was like 15 minutes from the airport. The hotel has a lot of common spaces outside our room. We hang out in all of those common spaces. There’s also a big garden (which is part of the restaurant). Our room was clean and tidy. I put in a request the night before and it was actioned straight away. Our room was spacious (it has a walk in closet). The hot shower had good water pressure.

United States of AmericaThe beds weren't as comfy as we had hoped. The boutique also has a restaurant so some nights there is noise from that. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay but our main complaint is the hotel is located a block from a club and on Friday and Saturday nights, it is open late, so you can hear the loud, booming music and they also set off firecrackers in the street at about 2am on both nights, which woke us up.
Staff was SUPER friendly, helpful and accommodating. Super cute boutique hotel in safe & secure location; facilities were clean. Some staff members spoke English. Breakfast was pretty good, though coffee could have been a bit stronger:) Breakfast was yogurt w/toppings such as fruit, nuts, oats, etc.; bread; juice; cheese. Lots of restaurants, cafes, public transit, etc. nearby, within walking distance.

BoliviaThe room we got was just on the entrance of the hotel, and they had an event that day so the noise, laugh and drunk people made very hard to sleep. Even though I spoke with the person in charge no much changed until 2:15am.. and when I was finally asleep all the noise from the kitchen was like next to me so I woke up very early, tired and not interested on staying one more night.
The Place is beautiful, very comfy and the staff very nice people. Also, te food is good 👍🏽
