Beach, Pools and Location were awesome. Walking distance to a lot of dining and "nightlife". Also, went diving with Palm Beach Diving. Would also recommend if interested in diving.

Locals, employees that we have become friendly with over the past 4 years and friends we have developed for over 4 years have all said new change is terrible and significantly different. No appreciation to loyal members. No appreciation to returning customers. Management lies directly to your face. Will be sending a more formal compliant to HYATT corporate with as many executives as possible on this email chain to provide my feedback my compliants and answers I will need!!!!
Location is great to downtown shops and restaurants. Have been going to this property for the past 4 years. It has dramatically changed for the worse ever since it was bought out and under new ownership. Marketed and branded as a HYATT property but it is not run like one and everyone staff wise management does what they want and doesn’t care what HYATT reputation is.

United StatesRooms need upgrading - beds weren’t so comfortable and I feel like the price point is high for what you get. IMO every 4+ star hotel should come with an espresso machine, this one does not. Also the small fridge in the room was bad, didn’t even keep items cold. The coffee shop downstairs didn’t even make freshly ground coffee so that was poor.
Location - right in the beach. Free palapas to use in beach and towels each day. Cleaning ladies were very nice but all other staff were average.

United Stateswe specifically asked for connections room 26 days prior to check in. the hotel responded that they noted the request , however when we checked in it was apparent they did not honor the request. this is very disappointing with such an advanced notice. the minimum will be to notify us as we were traveling with kids which made it uncomfortable. We had to ask for compensation and the hotel never offered one , claiming that they did what they had to according to the reservation. The other issue was with pool umbrellas, we paid for one bit they could not find a proper umbrella as they have broken umbrealls.

United StatesWe didn’t get the ocean view room even tho i paid extra for ocean view. In the booking pic you see directly ocean view but my room was on the side which is misleading advertisement. Also they did not have any entertainment like YouTube or Netflix on the tv. Very boring when you cannot sleep at night or wanna do a movie night. Also you have to pay extra to use the chairs and umbrellas Free ones are the back rows. Basically we paid $ 1000 a night just for the room, no food no entertainment nothing was complimentary. So i will definitely not stay here for sure. But my experience was good overall with the hotel and staff. I think it’s good if you like casina and have money to spend.
Breakfast, food, people who work at the hote were amazing, rooms are nice. Very updated and clean. Bed was very comfortable.

United Statesdidn’t like the lack of options of places to eat on the premises. didn’t like the fact that when we spoke with front desk TWICE to have them get in touch with security about an issue we were having they never looked into it. we had to take care of it ourselves after waiting 6 days for the hotel to fix the situation. finally after we addressed it personally it resolved. very costly place to stay with no added amenities to speak of. overall quite dissatisfied with our stay at this hotel and probably won’t be back to stay here.
I liked the location and I liked the pool area. casino was also an added feature we enjoyed.

GermanyThe front desk was horrible. Had issues with the credit card which were caused by the front desk and lateron they did not really help much. In the end had to call home to find a solution because they were not able to locate the money holding back by the hotel on the credit card. Would recommend to pay by cash or remittance. The standard room (3rd level) is not a nice room, very oldfashion, very dark and the window is too small so that someone cannot have a great view over the pool area (which is placed in the resort). Would recommend to book a room at a higher level.
The park of the hotel is amazing, the beach and the water too. You can have breakfast/lunch/dinner at the water of the park area - it is an amazing construct of creation. Have seen amazing animals that are very shy. Paola - the concierge of the hotel was amazing and helped with the journeys around the country.

Spainwe never will be back to Aruba
I was asking for the top floor room, but I got 3rd floor. The door from the balcony was broken, so we had to wait around 1.5 hours before it was repaired. I was complaining about the floor of the room , but the receptionist told me, that all rooms are busy and I would have another room in 2 nights. Its really does not worth this money. We payed 700$ x night (nothing included), I never saw nothing like that expensive in my live. I really don not recomind Aruba for family holidays, only if you go to party. The stuff is unfriendly. The worse experience we had ever!

United StatesHousekeeping came at crazy times. They came for turn down after 10pm. We requested MORNING housekeeping and they consistently came after 2-3 PM even though we complained. The tub in the shower is ridiculously high for anyone with walking issues or small children. The rooms have no balcony at all unlike the surrounding hotels.

United StatesI’m disappointed with the Hyatt. It was my honeymoon and I arranged for balloons, champagne and fruit to be placed upon arrival. I was working with a woman at the resort for weeks and sent my credit card to her. When we arrived they made us wait 4 hours to check in and nothing was there when we got to the room. I spoke to the manager and his response was they had nothing on record and would follow up. Never heard back from them and they didn’t seem to even be apologetic about it. Overall the staff wasn’t very friendly or helpful.
