Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United StatesDirty, broken chases on the beach, old towels ( you can only get one - not enough to cover the dirty chases. Food - for nine days the same food. The only one place you can eat was See Breeze, anywhere else - simply awful. No bottled water to drink - you have to pay for it, after you paid $503 for a day!!! Each time you have to sign a check after you have eaten. Never, ever again, even for free I wouldn't stay there. We were group of 10 and everyone was utterly upset.
Nothing was well

Excellent location. Marvelous beach but very outdated hotel. No intertament. All inclusive option is nice but same food every day and no much selection. Not bad if priced right.

NetherlandsThe rooms and the buildings were extremely cold, we were literally shaking in the room even with the AC off. We put towels under the room door to stop the cold air coming into the room. As the buildings are old, the air conditioners were making too much noise. It was so bad that we had to change our room and the room they gave us had a connection with the next room and the only thing between us was a locked wooden door and we were hearing everything they do... Also, there was no hot water for a couple of days but it was fixed eventually. Internet connection is good inside of the main building but the signal was almost none at the beach. Also, you have to pay extra 15 dollars each day, to rent a sunbed and umbrella which was surprising to me.
The location of the hotel is really good. It took around 15 minutes to get to the hotel from the airport with the shuttle bus. There are many restaurants, cafes, and stores just outside the hotel so, many options are available for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The beach was clean and the temperature of the water was quite okay. Pools on the other hand were a bit small. Food was okay, too. There are two different restaurants available for dinner and almost all of the meals on the menus are covered by the all-inclusive package. For lunch, again, there are two spots where you can have lunch. There is one breakfast place and it is all you can eat buffet.

United StatesLoved it all. Prior to my stay I saw complaints in the reviews about having to sign bill even with an all inclusive stay...trust me it wasn't a big deal at all. It's done to keep track of who's all inclusive and who isnt...there was absolutely no inconvenience AT ALL!!!
Everything! Location was right in the heart of it all. Staff was amazing and the hotel was really a RESORT on the beach. Everything was beautiful and constant cleaning taking place due to covid buy never in the way of disrupting guests

United StatesStaff was rude and often ignored African American guest. The clientele were a little bit bias and possibly racist. On a few occasions they refused to ride the elevator with me and/or my companion but hopped on elevators with people that resembled themselves (but we can blame that on COVID and ignore that experience). The rooms were outdated and the accommodations were average. The restaurant staff wrote in their own tip amounts on receipts that were charged to your rooms. Only person that treated us with kindness and respect was a young lady named Louise from Jamaica. We made sure she was compensated appropriately. I recommend saying at the Renaissance Hotel.

United StatesThe room didn’t have a king size bed that we asked for. Food was terrible at all the restaurants. No entertainment and after 7 o’clock The outdoor bar and pool was closed. Had to pay extra for my drinks and portions of the all inclusive meals. Most of the staff was not friendly.
The room was clean. Breakfast was terrible always cold. Loved the pool and the beach.

United StatesIt was very clean, staff was very friendly, staff at restaurants appeared to be short staff but were still very attentive and friendly. Breakfast was standard would have been nice to have something local to the area to try. Other two restaurants were good. We enjoyed Seabreeze a lot. We felt very safe here and took taxi only three times during our stay and spent a lot of time walking the strip which includes a lot of bars and restaurants. It is right on palm beach and the water is beautiful. There are palapa all over the property we didn’t rent one during our stay the weather was beautiful it was hot but there was a nice breeze. We can’t wait to come back.

United StatesThe staff was rude at times. We had purchase the all inclusive and the employees still expected an additional tip. The staff on the beach would sometime not even wait on us because we did tip excesses due to being all inclusive. Very mixed messages being sent via your staff members. if you didn't have cash in your hand the beach bartenders would ignore you. Unbelievable. Also the beach was left dirty in the mornings littered with cigarettes from the day before really unhappy with that. Also I fell and split my knee open and when it would stop bleeding I went to the towel hut to ask for a Band-Aid and they had none and told me to go to the front desk while my knee was seriously dripping blood. Also I should mention that my sister almost chocked on a piece of plastic that was in her dessert.
The location was great. Easy access to everything. The restaurants where good just not enough to choose from when you purchase the all inclusive. Also lacking staff in your coffee shop. Lines where just too long.
