Donna is a delightful lady who is very well versed with the island and who runs a well-organised business. There is a nearby supermarket within walking distance if self-catering; nearby restaurents will disappoint.

Needed more mugs, glasses, bowls. Needed a clothes airer to dry swimwear and towels. A tray would've been helpful.

Brace yourself, Antigua is eye-wateringly and ludicrously expensive (eg. 7km taxi from the airfield = USD53, a small block of butter = USD2.85, a small loaf of bread = USD6.49); it is in danger of pricing itself out of the market. The common complaint among the locals is that the tourists do not spend money outside the all-inclusive resorts and neither will disembarked passengers from the stream of cruise ships that visit. I wonder why?

Donna offers a comfortable, well-run and managed facility, with a kind and welcoming style. The apartment was comfortable and included a kitchen for basic self-catering; a couple of missing items were quickly supplied on request. A supermarket is 500m south. Donna is very well "plugged into" local politics and will conduct tours on request.

There was a cleanliness issue (bathroom not cleaned and a rank smell) when we first checked into the room. There were also some challenges with locking/opening the door to the apartment. This got resolved by offering us another room which was by far cleaner. TV audio quality in one of the rooms was not the best. It's not clear/sharp so unless volume was high, it was sometimes be difficult to make-out the words.

The location was pretty good in terms of distance to town and it felt like a fairly safe neighbourhood. The apartments were spacious enough and the lounge/living room space was also comfortable. One of the big things i needed in the rooms was the AC as outside gets hot and the AC units in both rooms were effectuve. Clean towels were provided daily and basic toiletries were placed in each room on arrival. Donna made us feel comfortable and checked in on us frequently, which was nice.

Hotel location being a few blocks inside from the main road, to get a taxi you need to know taxi operators phone numbers and have to call & wait for a ride. The saving grace is that most times the hotel staff can also drop you to your destination at a similar or lower price, if their vehicle and staff are available.

Good localities. Cleanliness. Good Customer service. Close to main city center in St. John's. Walkable distance to few restaurants and grocery supermarket. As a service, the Hotel staff also provides you sightseeing trips, pick and drop from airport at a very reasonable price. There was router in the room, providing excellent Wi-Fi connectivity. Clean linen, Towels and Toiletries well arranged. I was surprised to see a full service kitchen in the suit, with gas stove, utensils and a large fridge. Very ideal for long stay if one were to come for remote work or even few days with with family and if you prefer to cook a meal or breakfast.

The personal touch from management. It gave the feeling of being home and made us feel very comfortable. She was also always available to provide transport when we needed her. I also liked the fact that there is a supermarket just a 10min walk down the road.

A taxi was needed to go to town due to heat & roads. It was also too hot to walk to the beach tho it was only a couple of miles- with the salt lake in between.

Very comfortable , lovely white towels& sheets. Very helpful hostess, Donna. Pleasant quiet residential district. Excellent air conditioning. Donna took us to town& the airport . There’s a good supermarket within walking distance.lovely plants& trees around. All well kept.

For those planning on longer stays and doing their own meals,, just a bit more equipment in the kitchen would have been helpful. Wouldn't be an issue if you're eating out more often

Just a few minutes walk from being in town (St Johns), this is a well established property that offers good value for money. If you're after luxuries on Antigua then you'll need to up your budget and stay at one of the more exclusive resorts. But if you want to have a quiet clean place that gives you the opportunity to get out and meet the locals, eat from the food stalls, shop the local streets, then this self contained apartment set up works well. It's only 15 mins from the airport Think I'd have liked to sit down and have a meal and good conversation with the host about issues facing Antigua - very knowledgeable The number one question in all of these things is 'would I stay here again?' And the answer is YES I would

Clean and comfortable. Very friendly staff. A supermarket is 10 min on foot, 30 min to the beach They serve breakfast usually at 8:15. But cooked it for me at 7:00. The breakfast is on the 3rd floor. Nice view. You can eat and enjoy

Could use a little more kitchen equipment. The walk to the beach wasn't far for us but some might think it a bit much.

Simple and comfortable with enough kitchen essentials to take care of your needs. Pleasant view from the verandah with table and chairs for a lovely breakfast. Helpful owner and staff. Take-out from the nearby restaurant was good.

After a long trip from Saskatoon to Antigua, it was nice to arrive at this quiet hotel. I had a suite on the top floor with a full kitchen, a king size bed, and a jacuzzi tub. I walked to St John's to rent a mountain bike for 5 days from Bike Plus on Independence Avenue and rode 200 km all around the island. The nearest beach is a 20 min walk from the hotel. I recommend Nigel's restaurant just down the street at the Anchorage Inn. I had a wonderful time. Donna was a very nice host.

Nice and pleasant apartment, fully equipped. Located in a quiet area. Large supermarket nearby. Nigel's restaurant, Nomads and Chimney within walking distance. Caribbean Cinnema and El Taco are highly recommended. The rental of 2 mountain bikes at Bike Plus Limited , Independence Drive, Camacho Ave, St John's, made our holiday complete. Absolutely recommended to rent bicycles and explore the island. Excellent service.
