Located in Ponta do Sol, 1.2 km from Madalena do Mar Beach, Escarpa - The Madeira Hideaway provides accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. Everything was perfect. The place was so peaceful, situated in between banana plantations. The sunset views are so beautiful. Rooms have exactly the perfect size. The breakfast was probably one of the best we ever had in any hotel around the world. So well done, everyday there would be a special and the ingredients are mostly locally sourced. Highly recommend this hotel.

Set in Boaventura, 21 km from Santana's traditional houses, Terrabona Nature & Vineyards offers accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a restaurant. Everything was perfect. Local fresh food available for breakfast, a very comfortable bed, luxury facilities and location is amazing! But, most importantly, the hosts are incredibly kind and thoughtful. They made our stay extra special. Can't wait to come back one day!

Boasting air-conditioned accommodation with a private pool, sea view and a balcony, Luxury villa with private heated pool, garden and views of the sea and mountains. Is situated in Arco da Calheta. Lovely villa with nice pool. We stayed 3 generations grandparents i master suite. + 2 families divided between other rooms (11 persons total). The house was perfect for this!

Savoy Calheta Beach, facing the Atlantic Ocean, is located on Calheta Beach. This 4-star hotel features indoor and outdoor pools, spa, gym and access to the sea via the beach. Hotel was lovely. Staff was friendly and helpful. Nightly entertainment was a bonus.

The 5-star Vidamar Resorts Madeira is situated on Madeira's southern coast, just few minutes' walk from central Funchal. It features 3 salt-water infinity pools for adults and one for children. A real treat for our anniversary. Felt really spoilt.
