We liked it all! The location right on a beautiful white sandy beach. Waking up to a view of paradise. The lovely decorated beach house. A rain shower with sufficient water pressure. The delicious food at the restaurant. The treatments at the newly opened spa. The sweetest hotel cat that spent the night on our bed. It was all amazing and we hope to return!

OceanBlue Resort ligt in Christ Church, op 3 minuten lopen van Long Bay, en biedt accommodatie met een buitenzwembad, gratis privéparkeren, een tuin en een terras. An, honestly, unexpected gem when you drive there. The neighborhood looks a bit shabby and does not invite you for an evening walk. But…the resort exceeds its own description. The complex is designed in Mediterranean/African architecture with Gaudi-like shapes and works by local artists. The rooms have been perfectly renovated (2023), really spotless and cared for down to the last detail. The resort borders the tempestuous ocean and has a beautiful private swimming pool. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Nice to know that one of the managers/owners (?) is called Liesje, a typically Dutch name. Yet she is not from the Low Countries. The surroundings may be a bit less, but the resort has all the amenities. Too bad that the bar and restaurant are separate, so you have to pay separately each time. But that seems to have something to do with taxes. The small negatives outweigh the value for money. And therefore a: 10

Grand Windsock was an excellent resort for our family retreat. It was spacious, spotless clean, and very close to the beach.
