When we travel, we want to discover the world and see as much as possible of our travel destination. We never stay at one hotel and we don't care much about the hotel selection. That is completely different in the Maldives: your hotel is your travel destination. The selection of the hotel is very important and I did a lot of research. Oblu Select has very good reviews but we were scared about the potential downsides or hidden flaws. Well...We could not find any! This hotel is THE best. We loved our stay. It was beyond our expectations and we didn't notice points of improvement. We had a water villa with pool and the room was so pretty. Just amazing! The staff was also very friendly and helpful. I have never experienced something like that. Our host Mayrem was the sweetest. She was always there for us and helped us with whatever request we had. At the same time, she kept enough distance to respect our privacy. Every staff member was so sweet, helpful, respectful and caring. But without being pushy or indiscreet. The food was delicious and has the highest quality. There was enough variety: buffet, à la carte, live cooking and different restaurants. Eating at Oblu Select is an experience in itself. The underwater restaurant was a very special experience! It was great! We also recommend the floating breakfast and private movie night. The spa facilities are top notch. So professional and beautiful at the same time. I love the fact that this hotel is small-scale and has quiet/discreet/respectful quests. It never felt crowded. You can truly relax at this hotel because it avoids all 'party elements': no loud music, no club, no nightly events...Loud music and parties would be contradictory to the peaceful vibes of this hotel and island. If you realy need loud music or a party, you can visit the other island (connected by a bridge). The fact that this hotel is 'Adult Only' makes a huge different as well. No crying, no screaming, no tantrums.

OZEN RESERVE BOLIFUSHI is located in a spot of graceful elegance, offering excitement within endless beauty. A very special thank you to the manager Mr. Ali, who made sure our stay was exceptional. This was our second stay at this resort but under two different managements. This did not deter the amazing service, in fact it was even bette this time around. The villas are one of the best in Maldives. Both in size and design layout. We had the opportunity to stay in two different water villas and we were happy with both.of them. Excellent spa services with fully trained staff. A special mention for the food. All the restaurants and the pool bar have a great ambience and great variety. However, enough cannot be said about the fine dining restaurant, Origine. Chef Chetan's food was a relevation for our palettes. He even preepared some off menu items for us, which we could not get enough of. Saffron(indian cuisine) was one of the best I ever had and Chef Alok at the main restaurant, served us the most perfectly cooked lobster. And our butler Salman made our stay more special in every way. He took care of all our arrangements and made us comfortable in every way. He will be one of the main reasons if we choose the same resort again, which is highly likely. Distance from Velana Airport makes it a good choice after a long flight. (Approximately 30 mins by speedboat). The staff are the most excellent and courteous. A special mention for Arjun,Turana, Katya, Maryam, Mod and Rohit. Also Faa at the Spa was so great. Highly recommened for massage and facial. Thank you to the whole team for making it one of our best vacations espcially during Covid.

Naktsmītne Baros Maldives atrodas nelielā salā, netālu no Males pilsētas, tirkīza lagūnā. Hotel accessible from Male airport by a 25 min speed boat trip. The reef is beautiful for snorkelling (outside the wall is recommended). Definitely a romantic atmosphere ! Wonderful staff. Amazing restaurants on the seaside!

The staff were amazing - without exception - the key members all knew our names and made us feel very welcome. The quality of the food was exceptional - great choice with new dishes every night. The island is stunningly beautiful and reserved only for guests. Great gym and spa treatments. Can’t wait to visit again.

The weather is perfect for relaxing, swimming and to enjoy sun and the nature. The rooms are comfortable, and we enjoy the amazing bathroom with outdoor shower decorated with exotic plants. We enjoyed the sunsets, the water temperature and the cocktails at the beach bar.

Facing the beachfront, OBLU XPERIENCE Ailafushi - All Inclusive with Free Transfers offers 4-star accommodation in Male City and features an outdoor swimming pool, fitness centre and garden. Amazing atmosphere and lovely staff and bartenders especially Dani who made us an amazing cocktail the pina colada was amazing we will miss it.

Situated in Male City, Joy Island Maldives All Inclusive Resort has a shared lounge, bar, private beach area, and free WiFi throughout the property. New resort with exceptional buffet and chef. Restaurant has a machine that makes fresh cheese like mozzarella or burrata, nice selection of food, especially seafood every day. Friendly staff everywhere, at restaurant waiters were always smiling, entertaining kids. Good responsive guest relations managers. We really enjoyed a trip to coral garden and saw turtles. Though no big reef near the beach, but still there are nice corals and fish to watch nearby.
