When we travel, we want to discover the world and see as much as possible of our travel destination. We never stay at one hotel and we don't care much about the hotel selection. That is completely different in the Maldives: your hotel is your travel destination. The selection of the hotel is very important and I did a lot of research. Oblu Select has very good reviews but we were scared about the potential downsides or hidden flaws. Well...We could not find any! This hotel is THE best. We loved our stay. It was beyond our expectations and we didn't notice points of improvement. We had a water villa with pool and the room was so pretty. Just amazing! The staff was also very friendly and helpful. I have never experienced something like that. Our host Mayrem was the sweetest. She was always there for us and helped us with whatever request we had. At the same time, she kept enough distance to respect our privacy. Every staff member was so sweet, helpful, respectful and caring. But without being pushy or indiscreet. The food was delicious and has the highest quality. There was enough variety: buffet, à la carte, live cooking and different restaurants. Eating at Oblu Select is an experience in itself. The underwater restaurant was a very special experience! It was great! We also recommend the floating breakfast and private movie night. The spa facilities are top notch. So professional and beautiful at the same time. I love the fact that this hotel is small-scale and has quiet/discreet/respectful quests. It never felt crowded. You can truly relax at this hotel because it avoids all 'party elements': no loud music, no club, no nightly events...Loud music and parties would be contradictory to the peaceful vibes of this hotel and island. If you realy need loud music or a party, you can visit the other island (connected by a bridge). The fact that this hotel is 'Adult Only' makes a huge different as well. No crying, no screaming, no tantrums.

Das Baros Maldives ist eine kleine Insel in der Nähe von Malé-Stadt. Die Speisen waren alle super frisch. Gigantische Auswahl am Frühstücksbuffet. Zimmer gut geschnitten, ausreichend Platz um Kleidung aufhängen zu können. Sehr viel Ablageflächen im Bad. Lighthouse alles außergewöhnlich toll. Sommelier top. Gute Bands.

Die von einem Korallenriff umgebene Unterkunft Dhawa Ihuru - All Inclusive begrüßt Sie auf den Malediven und bietet Ihnen Villen am Strand mit eigenen Patios / Veranden aus Holz auf der Insel Ihuru. The island is cozy and peaceful. The atmosphere is very relaxed (we were walking around barefoot most of the time). The house reef is beautiful, full of life and easy to reach. We enjoyed the occasional 10 minute shoulder and neck massage at breakfast and the short sunset cruise. The New Year's eve dinner was delicious, the party was fun and the personalized Sarong was a lovely surprise. The restaurant offered enough variety every meal, with both international and local dishes. The staff is extremely kind, friendly and helpful. I wish I could remember all the names, but I can't. Just to mention a few... Frontdesk: Sambe, Naoufel and others. Kids club: Aini and Raikko (our daughter still has the bracelets and the paper basket they crafted together). Room: Hameed. Restaurant: Ziyad, Salmaan, Liu,.... Breakfast: Ismail freshly pressing juice with the fruit of our choice, and Pawan preparing eggs in your favorite way. Bar: Rohit, Hanane and others. The staff at the Water Sports center. And so many others... Thank you. This was a great way to pamper myself for my birthday :)

Weit weg vom städtischen Leben und eingebettet auf einer wunderschönen Insel im Nord-Malé-Atoll erwartet Sie ein luxuriöser Strandurlaub im Banyan Tree Vabbinfaru, nur 25 Minuten mit dem Schnellboot... Es war mehr als wir geträumt haben. Es war ALLES Perfekt! Das Frühstück war sehr lecker mit einer großen Auswahl, für jeden war etwas dabei. Das Essen war Super lecker und die Grillabende köstlich! Und das Personal.... Hier möchte ich einen ganz arg lieben Dank an Aimen + Prosanta + Ali und Aditya sagen... Ihr wart so freundlich, zuvorkommen und immer ein Lächeln im Gesicht.... Wir haben uns wie Prinzessinnen gefühlt... Danke!

Almost everything was just perfect. What an amazing place. We’re sad that we’ve only booked 4 night in water villas. On the last day we would love to stay longer ….but was not possible with all flights already planned. The Fushi Plan all inclusive is perfect and more than enough.

New resort with exceptional buffet and chef. Restaurant has a machine that makes fresh cheese like mozzarella or burrata, nice selection of food, especially seafood every day. Friendly staff everywhere, at restaurant waiters were always smiling, entertaining kids. Good responsive guest relations managers. We really enjoyed a trip to coral garden and saw turtles. Though no big reef near the beach, but still there are nice corals and fish to watch nearby.
