Everything was amazing and exceeded my expectations. I stayed in a water villa and saw sting rays and sharks from the balcony, used the private steps to go for a swim and snorkelled around the house reef. The restaurant had lots of choice and food being cooked fresh continuously.

Most beautiful impression is very private island, perfect for couples. Feeling like nobody around because island is small but very beautiful.

Woow what an experience, the best thing about this place is the team they are so friendly and kind and helpful , and the food was great and fresh a special thanks to chef oshan for the amazing food

Situated in Ukulhas, Beach Villa Ukulhas offers beachfront accommodation a few steps from Ukulhas Beach and features various facilities, such as a restaurant, a garden and a private beach area. The villa was very lovely, cozy and clean. The host is super friendly and will help with everything you need. I definitely recommend this place! Also the breakfast is tasty and the portions are big enough. You have the beach just across the road.

The resort was fantastic for us as we love peace and quiet and snorkelling, all of which we had in abundance. We had a standalone bungalow just off the beach. The beach was clean, with fine white sand. Snorkelling: The house reef started not far off the beach and extended to the drop-off which is where most of the action was. Snorkelling along the drop-off was incredible. On good days the visibility was more than 40 feet down, and we were literally surrounded by fish of all sorts. The largest fish we saw was a Napolean wrasse which appeared suddenly next to us on the reef. Several small sharks could be seen throughout the day. You can snorkel around most of the island - they give you a map and guide on the entry and exit points to the house reef. Food: Great. We went for the full-board option, with buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner. Plenty of options at all meals. Bars: Wonderful. Chilling out at the Asian Wok bar at the tip of the island is a must - almost 360 degree ocean views. Staff: Friendly, attentive and professional.

Wide variety of food choices, enough to cater for diverse taste and dietary needs. Food choices comprised of Maldivian, European, Asian (Chinese and Thai), Indian and Japanese (sushi) dishes in addition to a supply of fresh fish options. There was a wide variety of salad as well. The quality of food offered at breakfast, lunch and dinner was fantastic! The room are large and were very comfortable, clean and tastefully decorated. The bathroom is also very big. The entire property is very well maintained and easy to walk around. We saw several sharks and stingrays. The area is great for snorkelying. Veligandu is a fantastic choice for a resort and we would definitely return!

Drift Thelu Veliga Retreat ตั้งอยู่บนเกาะ Thelu Veliga ใน South Ari Atoll ซึ่งยังคงความงามตามธรรมชาติ ห่างจากเมืองหลวง Malé ไปทางทิศตะวันตกเฉียงใต้ประมาณ 90 กม. love this place , very peaceful. great staff. very barefoot and relaxed, and still chic. just how we like it. don’t worry too much about dressing up for anyone but yourself. I personally find that vibe fabulous. you do you at Drift. balenciaga or matalan, who cares? very clean - I think maybe it would be nice to be able to opt out of having towels and sheets replaced so often? (for environment etc.) I personally do not need my sheets replaced more than once a week, but the housekeeping staff did their job to perfection and with such care. they clearly work really hard to keep everything perfect. they were brilliant. re. tipping we just kind of spread our tips best we could amongst bellboys cleaners cooks waiters etc. i don’t think you have to. not everyone tipped. it’s up to you. they were just grateful. I would like to know that staff is looked after - that there is a a lovely place for them to spend leisure time etc as they live on the island, stuff to help them stay fulfilled (they seemed happy though! just my thoughts) suggestions aside - the place is tiny and pure magic , fabulous gardening/landscaping, magic little walkways. great food. the chefs try hard to offer a variety which is appreciated. we had three massages - they were great. the rest of the time just a lot of relaxation, snorkelling, kayaking, food and wine! they have great cocktails and mocktails too. will be back. thank you so much to everyone at Drift. it’s fabulous value.

It was our first time in Maldives and it was like we got into a paradise. Amazing nature, comfy villa (toilet, shower, jacuzzi bath tub outside like in your own fenced garden), amazing beach, different birds (sea chicken), fish (sharks and manta rays, other colorful fish), flying foxes, beautiful swimming pools at the bar areas, friendly, helpful staff (especially Laurent, Genelyn, Morgan, Shiyam, Arushan and many others). Everyone smiling, trying to help if required, wishing a good day. You feel there like you are with your big family around. One of the brightest experiences was the night time snorkeling with Lara from the diving center - we saw sleeping sharks! Fish feeding at the pier every night - sharks and manta rays come every night as they know they will be fed. Coral reef around the island was amazing. Temperatures of the air and water were perfect. I am not a fan of the Asian cuisine but our dinner at the Tamarind restaurant was great, respect to the chef. This is definitely the place you want to come back.
