Everything was amazing and exceeded my expectations. I stayed in a water villa and saw sting rays and sharks from the balcony, used the private steps to go for a swim and snorkelled around the house reef. The restaurant had lots of choice and food being cooked fresh continuously.

Beach Villa Ukulhas ligger i Ukulhas, bara några steg från Ukulhas strand. Här erbjuds olika faciliteter, såsom en restaurang, en trädgård och ett privat strandområde. The villa was very lovely, cozy and clean. The host is super friendly and will help with everything you need. I definitely recommend this place! Also the breakfast is tasty and the portions are big enough. You have the beach just across the road.

The resort was fantastic for us as we love peace and quiet and snorkelling, all of which we had in abundance. We had a standalone bungalow just off the beach. The beach was clean, with fine white sand. Snorkelling: The house reef started not far off the beach and extended to the drop-off which is where most of the action was. Snorkelling along the drop-off was incredible. On good days the visibility was more than 40 feet down, and we were literally surrounded by fish of all sorts. The largest fish we saw was a Napolean wrasse which appeared suddenly next to us on the reef. Several small sharks could be seen throughout the day. You can snorkel around most of the island - they give you a map and guide on the entry and exit points to the house reef. Food: Great. We went for the full-board option, with buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner. Plenty of options at all meals. Bars: Wonderful. Chilling out at the Asian Wok bar at the tip of the island is a must - almost 360 degree ocean views. Staff: Friendly, attentive and professional.

Veligandu Maldives Resort Island ligger på Rasdu och har ett privat strandområde, restaurang, utomhuspool, gym och trädgård. Den absolut bästa matbuffen som vi ätit på. Kan bero på att vi älskar indisk mat, men även färskfångad fisk som var vältillagad. Hela ön är fantastisk vacker, bättre än på bilderna. Man får en egen kontaktperson som svarar genast på frågor via whatsapp, och vi hade Natascha och Naif som båda var mycket trevliga och professionella. Resterande personal är också så bra de kan bli, serviceminded på ett sätt man aldrig upplevt tidigare. Fantastisk snorkling i house reef som du hade tillgång till utan att behöva lägga ut mer pengar på andra utflykter. Vi såg majoriteten av våra hajar och rockor på Veligandu reef. Vi åkte på två snorklingsutflykter (wonder rock och dhoni snorkling) som båda kändes värda men det var nästan lika bra snorkling i house reef (vår enda havssköldpadda såg vi dock på Madivaru corner). Det städas två gånger per dag så det kändes alltid superfräscht i rummet. Och de sista 4 nätterna blev vi uppgraderade av oklar anledning från water villa till sunset jacuzzi water villa, vilket vi är extremt tacksamma för. Vi hade fått höra att Maldiverna kunde ha mycket mygg, men vi såg inte en enda mygga under vår långa vistelse.

Drift Thelu Veliga Retreat ligger inbäddat på den orörda ön Thelu Veliga på Södra Ari-atollen, cirka 90 km sydväst om huvudstaden Malé. I would say everything. Friendly and helpful staff, great rooms, everything sparkling clean, well maintained, amazing food, perfect location with rich sea life. It was a perfect choice and we definitely recommend it. It was our first time in Maldives and it was like we got into a paradise. Amazing nature, comfy villa (toilet, shower, jacuzzi bath tub outside like in your own fenced garden), amazing beach, different birds (sea chicken), fish (sharks and manta rays, other colorful fish), flying foxes, beautiful swimming pools at the bar areas, friendly, helpful staff (especially Laurent, Genelyn, Morgan, Shiyam, Arushan and many others). Everyone smiling, trying to help if required, wishing a good day. You feel there like you are with your big family around. One of the brightest experiences was the night time snorkeling with Lara from the diving center - we saw sleeping sharks! Fish feeding at the pier every night - sharks and manta rays come every night as they know they will be fed. Coral reef around the island was amazing. Temperatures of the air and water were perfect. I am not a fan of the Asian cuisine but our dinner at the Tamarind restaurant was great, respect to the chef. This is definitely the place you want to come back.

Among resorts in Maldives, Outrigger Maldives Maafushivaru Resort is the ultimate island epitomizing all that one dreams of when thinking of the Maldives. The water in the lagoon was like it's a heaven. Perfect clean nature across the island. The stuff was very polite. A luxury resort to spend time.
