We had a great time at this guesthouse in Wilpattu - not far from the National Park. Great to meet Roshan and his team; they really try to fulfill all of your wishes and more. A very warm welcome and time with them. Food was excellent !! and such a big variety; thanks also for arranging our Safari with an experienced guide. You can see monkeys at the edge of the property, there are friendly dogs, ducks... cows around when you go for a walk. Mangoes growing on top of your bungalow...

Featuring a garden, Green Sapphire Holiday Resort Wilpaththu features accommodation in Wilpaththu with free WiFi and paddy fields and canal views. We had a wonderful stay at Green sapphire. The location is amazing set amongst rice fields in a rural village where you can walk to a nearby lake and pass by the friendly locals going about their daily life .Our room was so clean and modern and our host Dylan was very kind and informative,The safari organization was great. We saw a leopard cross the road right in front of us at early morning. We saw a lot of other animals to include a family of elephants. The food was also so fresh and delicious.we would definitely recommend staying here and get to feel the real SriLanka away from all the tourist hubs.
