We had an amazing vacation. The best was the stunning view over the beach from our balcony. The room was very big, loved the rainfall shower. The breakfast selection was the biggest we have ever seen and every single dish was delicious. Dinners were over the top too. We very much enjoyed having the surf spot right in front of the hotel.

A little tip: if you prefer milder flavors, do request them to tone down the spices. My stay was made even more memorable by the trips we took. The Galla Fort exudes historical charm, the tea trip was an enlightening journey into the world of tea-making, and the Kollaghan Lake was a visual feast with its picturesque islands, lively birds, playful monkeys, and yes, we even spotted a crocodile! Very clean and spacious rooms with everything you need. Everything is brand new and well-thought with little details in the rooms from design to toiletries. Perfect location to explore southern coast line and rest with the sound of ocean waves after a long day of exploring. David and Gau are perfect hosts. Staff is very helpful, they arrange whatever you need/ask. Accepts credits cards (important in Sri Lanka) Has very satisfying breakfast.

From the first moment I arrived until I left I felt absolutely comfortable. This good feeling, apart from the nice facilities and the very good situation, was mainly thanks to such welcoming and wa attitude from the incredible host Chinthaka, who, after only a week, I even consider a friend. I went to Weligama for surfing and also took profit to visit the surrounding areas and make the safaris (Udawalawe and Yala). They arranged everything from Temple Tree and brought me from there. It was fantastic. I only cared to enjoy. A well, I appreciated a lot all restaurant suggestions from Chinthaka. thanks to that I could try actual local food. So good. What to say about the breakfast. I will only say that, after 3-4h surfing sessions, I was not able to finish with everything. Delicious. Temple Tree definitively exceeded my expectation. I found not only a great accommodation, but also a constant support for my stay there and lots of advises and suggestions for the rest of my trip that made it unforgettable. My gratitude and congratulations to Chinthaka and his charming wife for their work with Temple Tree. I absolutely recommend Temple Tree.

The name says it all - it is a few charming wooden houses by the river and waterfalls. Absolutely stunning, secluded location for those looking for eco experience far away from civilization! The host will help you organize all your trips around Sinharaja at a very good price. I couldn’t recommend this place more - you need to check it with your own eyes!

Mirissa'da Mirissa Plajı'na 2,3 km mesafede yer alan Bali Villa Mirissa bahçe, ücretsiz özel otopark, teras ve restoran ile konaklama imkanı sunmaktadır. I stayed only two days at this amazing place, and really wish I could stay more next time. It’s close to Mirissa beach, but hidden and surrounded by a small river. The sky was so clear at night, I’ve never seen so many stars so clearly, which you can watch from a roof top. Waking up for the birds singing and having a perfectly made breakfast, which was such a large portion I couldn’t even finish. The staff is really making you feel home during the stay. They arranged a boat trip and whales watching for me on a discounted price since I stayed with them. Would love to come back and would recommend it to others as well.

The location was perfect for us, we enjoyed the tranquility of the river and surrounding nature while being only a short walk away from the beach and surf spots. We also enjoyed the food very much, a different kind of breakfast every morning (sometimes sweet, sometimes savoury, always a surprise) and beautiful plates with rice, curry including multiple different components in the evening. The best part though was the sweet family that made us feel very welcome.
