Anna and Lee are amazing and charming hosts, they really care about the guests well-being. There’s hammocks and bean bags on the beautiful beach (with views to Tangkoko) and a great chill out area at the back for rainy days.

An amazing stay, this is heaven on earth in Bunaken! The resort staff was superbly accommodating, making sure everything was done superbly and all our wishes were taken care of. Everyone is superbly kind, the resort is gorgeous, the diving is one of the best I have experienced... I am not doing this review justice in this short summary, because it really was so amazingly unreal. Don't think twice, just book and enjoy!

El Thalassa Dive & Wellbeing Resort cuenta con 1 piscina al aire libre a la sombra de los jardines de la selva, restaurante, salón y cafetería. I cant remember the last time I stayed at a hotel/resort and everyone knew my name, it was most endearing. Loved that the staff took the trouble to remember us all and always conversed with the warmest smile, really did leave the resort as a friend :) The room was clean, nice and surrounded by green! I also really enjoyed how guests were seated together for meals, made some wonderful friends and had really interesting conversations about diving and everything else with people from all over the world.

El Raja Laut Dive Resort, que combina con el campo, ofrece bungalows construidos con madera de cocoteros. Stop reading the reviews and book this now. NOW! It so amazing. We stayed 8 nights. Right on the ocean, with a little beach, no mangrove trees to obstruct view or access to beautiful coral reef, great for snorkeling. Other places in the island don’t have this. I spotted snowflake eels, 8 types of clownfish, 3 types of anemones, coral colonies the size of cars, and so many pyramid butterflyfish and niger triggerfish just in the first thirty minutes. It’s amazing. All of the rooms have wonderful views. It was so so so relaxing to be there. I have never had such a good experience. The food was amazing and local. We did vegetarian and it was so tasty. They also had fresh fruit around at all times. We went with the divers on their charted boat and snorkeled for around 12$ a person for two separate spots a day. Super affordable. The boat team of three men were so professional, knowledgeable, and yet super funny and kind. I felt like we’re all friends by the end. There is a public boat from manado, which we took on our way out, and we booked a private boat on our way in through Raja Laut. Both were great. Brahm the manager was so kind and attentive. We did laundry there and it was done well. Jessie and her staff in the kitchen were so kind. Always enough food, served family style so we could get to know the other guests. It was so nice, but also acceptable to talk to your own party if you wanted to.
