We had a beachfront villa, close to the infinity pool, and felt like we were on a private retreat for the entirety of our stay! Top-notch food and the friendliest staff! I’m in love with this place. Quietness, comfort and lots to do around. The rooms are amazing, all of them with views to the sea and the mountains, facing the sunset. All the details are a delight, with an special care for ecology, sustainability and products that are made from the lombok community. By far my best experience for sustainable travel and yet, the feeling of home mixed with comfort and service such as the best hotels. And Kudos to the staff, astonishing food, service and treat! Also, there is a small village nearby If you are like me and love to go see a true Indonesian community :D

Facing the beachfront, Amahelia Luxury Resort & Restaurant - Gili Asahan offers 4-star accommodation in Gili Asahan and features an outdoor swimming pool, garden and terrace. This was my favourite stay in the Lombok region . The staff here were absolutely delightful, with a shining star being Hendra in the restaurant, he was absolutely amazing. The food was also the best I had in Lombok. Every meal was delicious. I stayed in the pool villa and also the beachfront villa, both were lovely, clean, and had very comfortable beds. The pool area was so nice to relax in, and I also enjoyed the sun loungers on the beach. The property was very quiet and chilled, exactly what I was after. I would highly recommend this gem of a place!
