They even have an honor system with drinks that immediately gives you a more homely and open vibe. The facilities are new and something unlike most budget places. He allowed me to play my music and even jammed out with us a bit. Def one of the better places I stayed in Egypt if not, the best.

If you're with the car, you easily exit on a highway towards the Aswan Dam of Abu Simbel. The courtyard is a traditional one, the room was big, clean and with a good wi-fi. The host was careful and the surroundings looked safe. We also parked the car at the gate front and it was ok. The breakfast was tasteful and we served it outside in the courtyard. On the evenings, the lights from the courtyard make a warm and nice atmosphere. A good value for money!

Obelisk Nile Hotel Aswan Resort is located on the Nile Corniche, just 5 minutes' drive from the centre of Aswan. All rooms have a garden view. Free Wi-Fi is available in the public areas around the lobby. We arrived early in the morning. The staff Reham Nasry and other lady staff (I am sorry to forget her name as I am not good at remembering the names) was very kind. They let us enter the room earlier as they have abailable room. So we can recover well after a long flight. Room was nice and you cna enjoy swimming if you want. The reataurant (again l forgot the name) offers nice food at reasonable price. If you just cross the road in front of the hotel, there is a big traditional market.
