This eco lodge is in a stunning location overlooking the Pacquare river. The staff is extremely nice and friendly and took care of us very well. They have a beautiful kitchen and dining area to hangout, overlooking the Pacquare river ! The price for the lodge included delicious breakfast, lunch and dinner, served fresh and hot. We also did a couple of hikes around the resort. Diego was a great guide !. All the staff members/river guides were extremely friendly - Diego, Walter, Johnny. This place is a great value for money !

Nice resort close to the beach. Close to Puerto Viejo. Loved the breakfast buffet. Friendly staff at the restaurant.

Wonderful and clean resort, great breakfast and cocktails. Coffee was available throughout the day and the staff was very helpful.

Loved all the wonderful plants and animals. Impeccably well maintained. The breakfast was delicious, the room was beautiful, clean, and so comfortable. It was like being at a mini resort on a nature reserve. We saw kinkajous, sloths, poison dart frogs, and array of birds. Eric and Sharon took the time to indulge my interest in their many plants, and show us where to spot animals. It is a short walk with easy access to a beautiful beach with very few people.

The staff were incredible and happy and willing to help. The food was good as were the drinks. There were sloths hanging around and the staff helped point these out. The resort was clean and tidy - starting early they would clean the paths etc.

Location is perfect, because you can also walk to the town (1 mile away), not like other resorts that you can only go by boat. Breakfast was delicious.

Amazing stay in a cosy lodge, where time has seemed to stop! It was truly a unique experience. We loved relaxing with the sounds of the forest in a very cosy private cottage with all the comfort from top-tier resorts, at a very attractive price

This was our first trip to Puerto Viejo and Cariblue exceeded our expectations! The resort is beautiful and the location is perfect. The staff was friendly and helpful. We loved the pool, food and the beach which is an easy walk. If you have the option to add the breakfast, do it. It's amazing!

We had an amazing time on Martin and Celina’s wonderful property. They turned an old cacao plantation into a little piece of heaven. A lot of space, animals at your doorstep and the best breakfast ever. Every evening we wondered what food we would get the next morning (sometimes even directly after breakfast). Besides, Martin, Celina and their son are the best hosts you can ask for. For the full jungle experience, try their luxury treehouse.
