Whitsunday Sands Resort is uniquely located on its own private peninsula, by the turquoise waters of the Great Barrier Reef. It offers all guests private access to 2 separate, magnificent beaches. We accidently landed in this little paradise! Multiple gorgeous beaches surrounding. We made a last minute booking as we wanted to get closer to our departure airport (one hour South) and got lucky that someone had made a last minute cancelation! The view from our room was a dream. Obviously a popular family resort and very busy, but still nice and quiet at night for good sleep! Would have loved to spend a week or two!

Set in Airlie Beach, 10 km from Coral Sea Marina, Freedom Shores Resort Airlie Beach offers accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a shared lounge. Clean, very nice rooms, good breakfast, we arrived late, which was managed in a very convenient way.

BIG4 Adventure Whitsunday Resort is located in Airlie Beach, 4.1 km from the main street and Abell Point Marina. Fabulous location and facilities.

Set just 400 metres from Catseye Beach, Superior Poinciana 011 on Hamilton Island offers accommodation in Hamilton Island with access to pool with a view, a garden, as well as free shuttle service. The property was one of the best stocked and well equipped that we have ever stayed in! Overall we felt really at home and welcomed. The apartment was incredibly spacious for the four of us, highly recommend this for a family stay.

Set within 400 metres of Catseye Beach, the 3-bedroom Poinciana 112 features a private balcony offering views of the Whitsunday Islands. The apartment is spacious, clean and comfortable. The balcony is large and the view is spectacular. Loved watching the wildlife especially the wallabies feeding below the balcony every evening. Maree was very easy to communicate with.

Surrounded by rainforest and the Great Barrier Reef, Elysian Retreat is a 3 hectare private cove. Everything was absolutely fantastic! The location, secluded and super relaxing, but with many activities to do if one is a bit more active. The staff which is super lovely, personal and extremely helpful (special mention for the help received when we had issues getting there due to a delay in our plane and for arranging our day trip to Whitehaven). The structure, luxurious even in the smallest details such as the amenities and decors. Really, a true paradise! Could not recommend it more.
