We absolutely loved our stay in Sharazad Oasis Retreat. The location is amazing, in a quiet and naturally beautiful spot, simultaneously by the sea and in the middle of biodiverse greenery, with many native trees and with red colobus monkeys passing by every day. The houses are very comfortable, cosy and pretty, designed using natural materials. There is no aircon but we did not feel too hot even during the hottest days, instead it was really pleasant to enjoy the natural air flow from the sea. The staff is really kind and helpful. The facilities are great. We particularly enjoyed the jungle pool. The food was very nice, including the breakfast. We would particularly recommend the Vietnamese restaurant, which is partly part of the hotel, absolutely delicious! The excursions we organised via the hotel were good, especially the spice farm, and we also enjoyed relaxing massages in the Naru Spa. All in all, a much recommended choice for a sustainable higher end stay! Not sure that there are many similarly amazing places to stay left in Zanzibar.

Great boutique hotel, very clean and well maintained rooms, super friendly and polite staff, excellent service, nice breakfast. There are 2 pools with the warm water, you can take massage (25$ for 60 min).

The most perfect place for a stay in Zanzibar, away from the crowd. The location is absolutely fabulous, with a view and access to the beach. The rooms are amazing as well. It’s such a peaceful place, where you can relax, read, swim in a stunning place. The restaurant is excellent, and the service is great. Big thanks to Jouma and Anna ♥️ Will definitely come back!!!

+ room and toilet super clean + everyone very helpful und friendly + food is good (we had every dinner in this hotel) + try the muesli at breakfast - the best! + rooms have aircon + fan + the area is super quiet and peaceful the owners are the kindest people we ever met. they will try to help you with everything you want to know or do. The hotel is about 5min away from the beach and is really not a big deal.

This was a small, quiet, boutique beachfront hotel, nicely furnished (also we loved the smell of the coconut and lime shampoo, bath soap and conditioner that were available in the beautiful bathroom) with very helpfull and kind staff. I must also say big thanks to the owner Mr. Francis (hope I spelled it right) who was especially kind and welcoming. The restaurant in the hotel has really amazing food.

The place is at a very good location conducive for relaxing and not crowded.The rooms have hot water running throughout. The hotel had a genset ready when they were power cuts.The staff was welcoming. Nyemo, Alfons, and Cosmas were so welcoming. Chef Peter's food was amazing and out of this world. And Abas, the hotel Manager was very very good. If u looking for a quiet place to relax and have fun in Zanzibar, Aquamarina is the place.

The location is amazing- tucked away in the beautiful beaches of Jambiani, Geo's is quiet and offers more privacy than similar hotels in Paje. I often have dinner there but this was my first overnight stay and it was very comfortable. I had a villa right on the beach and the staff were really friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay there again.
