hotel J7 Villaj Resort bol najlepší v akom sme počas pobytu na Srí Lanke bývali. Veľká čistá izba, pohodlná posteľ, každý deň fľaša vody. Naša izba bola na prízemí, vzadu na malom dvorčeku sme mali sušiak na prádlo, čo sa veľmi hodilo. Pred izbou pekné posedenie s malým stolíkom a výhľadom na bazén. Bazén čistý, udržiavaný. Personál veľmi úctivý, všetci veľmi milí a ústretoví. V cene sme mali veľmi chutné raňajky a vždy sme si počas pobytu dali aj obed alebo večeru v tomto hoteli. Všetko bolo čerstvé, chutné. Hotel nie je priamo pri mori, ale more je len pár minút chôdze a aspoň nás nerušil hluk od barov, ktoré boli priamo na pláži. Tento hotel by sme určite odporučili.

Having searched online for quite some time we decided to stay in the Amaranthé Bay for four nights in June and are very glad we did! Upon arrival we were met with a lovely welcome drink and very helpful staff, every staff member we encountered throughout our trip were friendly, approachable and nice. Mayuran, Priwin and Abinaya were always very helpful and couldn't do more for us! We stayed in a junior suite overlooking the bay, it was spacious and very clean. It also had a lovely jacuzzi to relax in while taking in the views. The pool area itself is kept very clean and had plenty of chairs, both in and out of shade depending on your preference. The hotel is located close to everything but in a very peaceful setting. The walk to nearby restaurants and bars only took a few minutes and felt very safe. We went to the beach a few mornings and it took about 5 minutes to get there! We ate in the pool bar and everything we had tasted nice, including the cocktails! Breakfast too was full of variety, both Western and local options, and you definitely won't be leaving feeling hungry! Kirujan, Ladsagan and Thisalini were always smiling every morning! We really enjoyed our stay here and feel that it was excellent value overall, would 100% recommend!

-I slept very well the 2 nights because it was very quiet, with the window open, you could hear the waves -The shampoo and all the products used are of very good quality, I was very happy because, as a backpacker, I didn't have my shampoo -Very nice and helpfull staff -Good and variate breakfast

Great rooms, super clean beds and bed linen, bathroom fantastic, shower full pressure and hot water. Fantastic breakfast, great service and lovely staff. Good location for beach bars and restaurants. Swimming pool lovely and clean, thoroughly recommend 👌

108 Palms is an absolute gem. I had booked elsewhere but the government visit in Trincomalee precluded staying closer. And I am so glad it did! Greeted at the gate, low key administrative requirements. Super attentive staff. The restaurant served delicious meals with smiles. The pool is delightful-Just right for relaxing near the amenities. And then a short stroll (150 meters) to the beach. The sand is clean and easy to walk on. The water was photo blue - straight from a postcard. My first 2 days the wind blew and there waves were breaking fairly close to shore. The last days - nearly calm. And the beach in both directions was nearly abandoned. A few fishermen going about their business. A few teens walking along from one place to another. That was it. Distance to town - about 15 minutes in car/tuk tuk. But other than for business reasons, I did not bother. When the bells ring during the day it is the Hindu temple just south of the resort - take the time to visit. It is an artistic wonder, so close to the saltwater yet so colorful. What a wonderful relaxing place to stay!! I hope to have a repeat visit. PS I did go scuba diving while in Trincomalee and highly recommend Epic Ocean Adventure, located in the commercial part of the town, 15 minutes from 108 Palms Resort.

Travel a lot and there are always some things good and some things less good about a place. Blue Sand had got all the important stuff right - comfy large bed, great air con, good pressure and hot water shower, comfortable sun loungers with various other seating options too, helpful and friendly staff, beachfront location and clean environment. Perfect for the last few days of our trip and a small enough resort to not feel like another tourist in a big resort. We had the best time and hope this gorgeous spot stays this way.
