Our stay in Anantara Kalutara Resort was perfect, even more satisfying than expected! We managed to visit everything that we wanted and the main reason for that was a nice guy form the staff - Shalindra, who organized perfect trips for us - meals, transport and guiding. He was responsive and helping in any moment and for any request from us, not only for activities outside of the hotel! He made us happier durring our stay! But he was not alone in this work! I would like to express our thankfulness to Krish, he was our perfect trip guy and very talanted photographer and video creater. He provide us with nice memories from our stay, sent us video and photos. We were having dinner and breakfast in the main restaurant, where the food was great! Congratulations for the Chefs! Everything was very tasty and with big variety og the taste! We were impressed from the service in the italian restaurant in the resort and most especially from the attitude of Sampath. He was on our service all the time, providing us the best service by the pool and in the italian restaurant. He was guiding us on the beach, telling us local stories and advising us when is safe to swim in the ocean. We would like to meet all of the local guys from the staff again and to enjoy their services! Last but not least, there was Dilan - he was responsible for the cleaning of our appartment. He was taking perfect care for our comfort and he was very nice with our 3 years old son! As a conclusion - for the perfect family vacation is important to be in nice facility, but most important is the relationship with the staff! Anantara Kalutara is providing with proffesional and at the same time personal attitude from the people who works in the resort. We are very thankfull for this and we will definately visit this place again!

Extraordinary place, super friendly staff. The warm welcome by our hosts made you feel at home immediately. The pool is one of the biggest in Sri Lanka with a real pool bar. Breakfast was super tasty, a wide range of different food to choice from. In the hotel bar you could taste the best cocktails while playing snooker & pool all with a live band in the background. Every staff member took the time for a friendly chat and were very compassionate and flexible Special thank you for my friend the porter who was smiling all the time and off course Amanda, our host, who combines professionalism with friendliness as I never have seen before.. Always available for a friendly talk and very resourceful.

I cannot recommend this hotel enough! It is a perfect relaxing and calming place, surrounded by nature, the sea on one side, the lake on the other, all in the middle of trees and flowers. The staff is amaaaazing, from the reception to the swimming pool service, the restaurant staff, and a special thank you to Mr Dinesh whose room service was just impeccable. Mr Dinesh is definetely the best room service provider i've ever encountered, and he is also a really pleasant individual :) And let's not forget the delicious food! Everyone at Avani is doing their best to make your stay wonderful. Finally, a bravo for the decorator of this hotel, flawless! I will come back for sure.

We had a great stay at Ayana with our little daughter, everything was very clean and well maintained from the pool to the garden and rooms. The staff was very helpful and friendly and the food from the restaurant is top tier; everything is very tasteful and fresh and there’s a lot to choose from. We can only recommend this place!
