Kamaku is a real paradise. I had an amazing experience here. The staff goes above and beyond to make your stay as unforgettable as possible. The dorm is very nice, the beds are comfortable and bathrooms are clean and spacious. Sunset Beach is the perfect place if you are looking to avoid the crowds and have a nice, relaxing time. It is a small beach where you get to after a 30-minute hike from Saracen Beach where the Ferry drops you off. Someone in Saracen Beach tried to discourage me from doing the hike and painted it as if it was a very difficult trek but it truly is not. The people from the other hostels on the beach are incredible as well and it has this sense of community that not many places have nowadays. You will definitely not regret visiting Sunset Beach and staying in Kamaku.

Don't look further and book this wonderful place! Paulo and Nadja went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. We are on our honeymoon in South East Asia and this was one of the highlights of our trip. The 30 min hike is absolutely worth is. There are few places in the world that are unspoiled like this place. Sunset Beach feels like a community. Every morning we got coffee at the neighboring joint and had food at another place. They even recommended us to try the other places. Truly an unique experience. For snorkeling head up to the right side of the beach (near the rocks) and enjoy the lovely coral. We will be back! The swimming pool has a great view of the sea and beach and is stylishly designed. The restaurant bar is also by the beach and the food is very tasty and not unreasonably priced for a resort of this standard. Staff are friendly and helpful as was Jenny the gorgeous dog that lives here! The location is great, as it's a very short walk along the beach to other bars and the minimart. It's also not far from the boat piers and the hotel has a small boat to transfer you and your luggage up and down the beach on arrival and departure. A great choice for sure!
