Good location in front of the therms (the luxury as well as the more local one) and restaurants. Nice rooftop to sit outside. Taxi (yellow) to quito airport is 20 dollar, approximately 50minutes. The taxi place is 50 meter from the hotel. Bus from quito south is easy and anice drive, about 2 hours: 3,50dollar pp and 2 dollar for the taxi to the hotel.

There is a hotel inside the resort, but it’s very expensive. Mamallacta is a wonderful alternative as it is located just a few minutes walk from the entrance to the resort and is a great deal more affordable. Additionally we found Mamallacta Lodge to be comfortable and clean. The food was good, and the quality of service offered by the staff was exceptional.

Hot springs were excellent, clean, with staff checking the temperature regularly. The spa part was also great… massage very good. The staff throughout the resort were delightful, friendly, helpful and kind.

The hot springs are wonderful - more than on par with any hot springs resort I've been to in the US. The spa services are also excellent. It's very rural and simple, but that's what I liked about it. No big luxury, just the simple bare necessities (and loooots and lots of blankets that make the night comfy and warm <3) and the usual continental breakfast that fills your stomach just right. The scenery is beautiful and it is quiet. Nothing more to wish for, to be honest, for that absolutely fair price.AndreaYoung couple
