We came to PuertoJimenez to go Birdwatching, which we did with Royer, an excellent Birder. Also, I would recommend the Night Walk, with Emmanuelle in the Osa Interactive Garden. The Dinners & Breakfasts were excellent at the Iguana Lodge Beach Resort. The staff were very friendly, also the owner Lauren! Playing in the surf, with their Boogie Boards was challenging but fun!

I had room overlooking the pool, convenient for restaurant/bar access. All staff were friendly and helpful with all questions. The atmosphere was low-key and so perfect for a stay. Lots of private beach to wander and enjoy with a smile, even up the nearby part of the Resort.

Close to the beach has a restaurant inside the hotel. Many employees who do their best to make the resort still taken care of. The staff accommodated my request to change the room because there is no network and no WiFi.

Obviously new resort, so the rooms were still fresh. Room units were not very spacious, but the two-bedroom suites were spacious and kitchen very well equipped. The pool area was great with the bar and kitchen. The staff was particularly friendly and helpful.

We had the Bungalow at the end of the resort, so we had a lot of privacy. It´s more a harbour view then a beach view, but you can go for a swim and have a nice view at the sea from the balcony and first sleeping room. In the kitchen you can prepare your own food and enjoy meals with a view because it´s outside. The staff is super friendly and helpfull - big thanks to that wonderful people! You can rent kayaks and bicycles for free!

The food was fresh, local, and delicious. The resort is beautifully landscaped and has a magical quality with all the old-growth trees, art, and cool design. It is a very relaxing place but also offers activities with the free use of boogie boards and surfboards. The staff was very polite and helpful. Everything was wonderful for our family vacation. I love this place and hope to return again. We also spent one night at the Hilton Botanika resort and everyone preferred Iguana Lodge for its authenticity and beauty.
