It’s an old Nantucket Victorian home turned into a hotel as many right in town are. It’s the perfect location but keep in mind it’s an old hotel. Our room didn’t have a bathroom we had to walk down the hall but it was our own private room. Every room is different so be sure to read the descriptions. They provided beach chairs, coolers and even an umbrella. A lovely contention breakfast every morning. I would stay again but I would be sure to pick a better room. I disliked the bathroom situation.

Jared Coffin House is centrally located near Nantucket center for shopping, with many excellent restaurants within walking distance and Jetties Beach about 10 minutes away. They offer beach chairs, towels and an umbrella to bring to the beach as well as a complimentary shuttle service from the hotel to Jetties Beach. They offer a complimentary breakfast each day. We were able to check in early and leave our bags on checkout until the time of our ferry to return home.

The staff was exceptionally friendly. We were able to store our luggage at the hotel while we walked around Nantucket and waiting to check in. We were also able to get breakfast at the hotel while waiting to check in. They were also able to check us in earlier than the 4 o’clock check-in time. The rooms were clean. I do a lot of traveling and I have to say this is one of the best stays I’ve had.

The White Elephant Residences is located walking distance to almost every great restaurant in Nantucket and is situated in the heart of the city. The service is impeccable and everyone goes above and beyond to make your stay special - especially the manager Alice, who is always thoughtful and extremely knowledgeable of the area. This includes Brandon Grill - great Sunday brunch!

The location of the hotel is definitely the most relevant point. It is close to everything, even the whale museum is a 3 blocks from the hotel. It is one of the few hotels in Nantucket with breakfast included. It is good and all fresh :). The hosts are very friendly and make you feel the hospitality from the beginning that the locals in general, have.

The hotel is in the middle of the island, which makes it a good starting location for biking tours. There is a great shuttle service to Nantucket. The hotel is close to the airport, but one did not hear all that much. The staff is very competent, friendly and helpful.

Fabulous decor, super-comfy rooms and the most wonderful staff who manage to get that mix of professionalism and friendliness just right - this is our second stay at a Life House hotel, the other was in Nantucket and the staff there were wonderful too

Beautiful rather small hotel. Very nice design in the rooms and comfortable beds. The service was always very friendly, helping us out with tips and giving you the feeling to be welcomed. For our next Nantucket we will definitely book it again.

The Staff, location, breakfast and decor were excellent. It's a Beautiful historic nantucket home turned boutique hotel. Lovely snacks and warm cookies every afternoon. Parking on street nearby was fairly easy too!

Great location in downtown Nantucket, within walking distance of everything and a quick bike to the beach. Nice lawn area and gas fire pit. Bathroom was newly renovated and nice.

Great location, hotel is warm and inviting - a wonderful place for a short stay or longer trip! Will stay here again next time on Nantucket!

Owner: Nate is very friendly and very accommodating. Included in this piece of historic living, everything was clean and neat. Easy walking distance to downtown. We would definitely stay here again.
