My stay at Nshongi camp was absolutely incredible, the best of my trip: The staff welcomed my warmly by upgrading me to a sublime room where the beds were very comfortable. Moses and the whole team go the extra mile to make you feel at home. They are extremely kind. In addition, the hotel is incredible: view of the forest where animals are visible (I observed colorful birds, monkeys, squirrels and a family of waterbucks), very comfortable (internet and hot shower and two steps from Rushaga Gate) and the food is delicious. I even extended my stay!

Featuring a garden and views of garden, Ntebeko Homestay is located in Kisoro, 1.5 km from Mgahinga Gorilla National Park. The house is very close to the main park entrance. it’s very clean, has a nice hot shower and comfortable simple rooms. The breakfast was nice and we were offered dinner in a nearby property that was also excellent. However, it’s not practical to stay here if you are climbing Mt Muhavura, because that trek starts from a different entrance, which is 40 minutes driving on very bad roads early in the morning. for all the other activities, it’s just the perfect place!
